I managed to change my screen with the instructions of this video so YAY THANKS FOR THIS! Still, it was not easy. The "dismantle" could have been included in this video. Battery was glued differently (i had to use some acetone to get rig of it), and the protecting tapes were very differents on the new screen. The hardest part was to put the new lcd supporting frame sticker, which was not wanting to stick to the phone, prefering to keep on the sticker's plastic sheet.

Why did you removed the whole motherboard, camera and so on? Will it also work by removing only the screen (the front)?

Help! I recently tried to change my broken screen. The new screen doesnt seem to work, so I ordered another one. Since this also doesnt work, I have no clue what to do. The phone boots up normally, I hear sounds, it connects to the wifi. Vibration doesnt work but thats since I opened my phone for the first time. I really need this to work quick!

Is this guide not complete or what? I don't see the guy removing the battery or the circuit boards, but before he mounts the new LCD screen he puts te battery and the circuit boards back in place? So have i missed it or where in this video is he actually removing those things?

I'm sorry to confuse you :( There is some steps pass, but there's a way to let you know where's the missing steps, in 0:44 you can see there top right corner is a slogan, click and you will get the whole playlist of sony xperia X, the missing parts is in teardown video

Sorry for late reply, you can try restart it and see if the issue solved, if the problem still there then I'm afraid you have to replace a new display :-(
