you expect for the reviewer to bring the camera all the time and get the right timing when he actually, accidentally slips the phone? you must be joking mate. The reviewer himself when he tells you that the phone is slippery is by no mean a lie, and its just him doing the joke for the video. You asked too much to make him show you right when the phone slips off. I bet he even use the phone only for review and no more after that. Be smart and think carefully. So far as I know the heating issue is from hardware part from qualcomm 810. They have launched updates to lower the clock speed but the heating issue doesnt go away. That's why many new phones that have been launched do not have qualcomm 810 and the new oneplus 2 is getting completely different version of SD 810.

Jesh Patel Its a lot better since the lollipop update but its still noticeable under heavy load. Some people also get random cracks on the back and some have hypothesised it may be due to heat stress. Having said all that, I love my z3, I would recommend it if the lg g4 didn't exist.

Nice review. Its year 2018. I am still using this phone. Everything works great. Android 7.1.1. Using plastic cover. Today i changed the original display foil for hardened glass. Man, the display looks even better. Zero scratches on whole phone. And i use it really on 100%. Control device for Dji mavic drone, underwater videos (Thai salty water), NFC pairing for remote control SONY digital camera. Also i like the SONY audio capabilities. Newer SONY flaghips have smaller battery capacaty, and are thicker. I see no reason for upgrade. For me personally is the best phone i ever had.

I used the SONY Z3 Plus for two years..... One of the most beautifully designed phones ever imho. I still have it, and it still works perfectly.... though I have since upgraded to a new phone.

@Mr. Cubiew I never had any problems with it aside from the overheating problem. That was the phones main problem when it's used heavily. Other than that though it worked quite well, and over two years it's overall performance never slowed down. As I Said I still have my Z3 despite that I dont use it anymore and it still works 100%.

Ash Tailor Great phone, one of the best. The back is not slippier, i'm sure the SD 810 overheating is a production error for some, it is running the v2.1 (but it might be software). Overall, love it :D

I still remember when this was my daily driver and I used to suffer with lag and heat. It was so hot that water resistant adhesive failed and the back panel came off. It was still a great phone tho. Also I feel so comfortable while typing this on the note 10 plus
