The great thing about a camera like this is that you don’t have to worry about the “Shutter Count” cause it doesn’t have one so less pieces that could break 😂

Yo let's GO. I got a nice deal recently for an A7IV. I really wanted to get the A7SIII but I figured I get the A7IV as it's a relatively more versatile tool, then wait a few months to see what Sony is going to release between now and Q1 2025, and then I'll probably cop an A7SIII or A7SIV if it comes out. @@LaloRacer1 Awesome to hear! I can definitely see an A7S4 coming soon since it’s been so long since the A7S3 released. What are you wanting/hoping for in that release? I would assume it would either have 24mp or a Global Shutter which = no rolling shutter I believe

@@KevinGannets My main wants would be OpenGate function, the new AI chip for auto focus, some of the new dynamic reframe features and dynamic active stabilization. Also an 8+ stop IBIS. I would LOVE a 24MP sensor for hybrid capabilities but I feel it might affect rolling shutter performance, and global shutter would also be great but would likely handicap its impressive dynamic range. Unless Sony can make some engineering magic happen to give us either or both! All in all, I hope for A7SIV to get mainly the new AI and software features.

@@LaloRacer1 ahhhh yes Open Gate would be awesome! I was actually planning on getting the Lumix S9 before finding this deal and that camera has OpenGate. Definitely a nice feature for reframing and vertical content. I don’t do much vert stuff so I don’t really “need” that but it would’ve definitely been cool to have if I ever decided to try Vertical Content. I’m more than sure if I ever wanted that camera tho i’d be able to trade with someone aha surely someone out there would trade an S9 for the ZVE1 😆

@@KevinGannets Dude I'm sure when the time comes you'll easily be able to sell it for as much if not more than what you paid. Either someone who really understands its feature set, or someone who loves the white version. I know the ladies go crazy for white vlog cameras so you'll probably have no issue making some of the bread back for your next purchase 👍

Yeah especially with the supposedly limited White Viltrox 20mm lens I got coming tomorrow aha it’s a great possibly perfect kit 😎 but honestly I think i’m gonna be rocking the ZVE1 for a few years at least 😌

You know I have an Osmo Pocket 3 and while it's good for the size, it's more of a toy than a tool. It overheats too easily for my footage, which is 4k60p. Are you able to test the ZV-e1 outdoor in the sun at 4k60p and see how long it takes to overheat? For some reason, overheating has been the number 1 issue for me because once it gets there, I simply cannot do much more. Might have to get a7s3.

If you want that sensor without overheating, you get the FX30. Overheating depends on a lot more than the just the sun - lens/AF use/codec bit rates. Oh and not sure you how go the OP3 to overheat in 4k/60. Where you constantly using it for an hour? Isn't the internal battery bypassed with the external plugged in during use?

@@z352kdaf8324 It doesn't take much to overheat the OP3, even with an external charger connected, it's a toy not a tool. I've had it heat up every time when it's outdoor even in 80f degree weather. 4k60p recording.

You killed it! And with that camera you don’t need a shutter. The sensor read is really quick because of its low megapixel count. It’s also makes it the best in low light! If you don’t like the white color, they make skins that you can apply to the camera in almost any color.

honestly I don’t mind the white I think it looks pretty cool but for being stealthy I would’ve preferred black but it’s no big deal. Could always grab a skin or case You have no idea how happy I was to grab this at $1190 because it’s been on my radar for so long. God bless best buy’s Open Box price setters LOL
