Great video, of course. I’ve use this app a few times, for me, it was cool to be able to take some pictures, and just drop them into my phone, but overall, I just find it to buggy, too much latency, it just felt like it was getting in my way all the time.

Is there a way to preview and select if you wanna keep the videos after recording? I have an old Canon and just switched to a Sony ZVE-10. And on Canon, I had the Canon software where i could control the camera to focus, shoot and record as well. And I was testing the sony one, the pictures go straight to the computer, but is there a way to do this with the videos as well? - Record it, watch it, discard or keep it without have to unplug the USB and all?

I just wish they added 5Ghz WiFi to the zv-e10 instead of 2.4ghz which is so slow to transfer video files.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! 😃 There no way that I know of to start them all together, however the key would be to sync the audio of all the cameras together. Great video. Your step by step setup was dead on. I have a question. I am trying to pick up the GPS coordinates from my phone. After taking a photo and sending it from the ZVE10 to my iphone 13 I do not see any location on the photo. How can I get the GPS coordinates from photos taken with the ZVE10 without having to use a 3rd party Geotag software after the fact?

First of all, thanks for taking the time to watch and support the channel! 😀 There are a few settings that need to be in place in order to get GPS info from photos. The first thing you must do is navigate to the "Network2" page on your ZV E10 using the menu button. Select the 2nd option "Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl" and make sure this is set to "OFF" Next Scroll up to "Location Info. Link Set." and press the select button. Make sure "Location Info. Link" is set to "ON". Now you need to go to your iPhone, select settings scroll down to "Imaging Edge". Make sure "Location" is set to "Always". Now when you transfer photos, you should get the GPS info along with the photo as well. I hope this helps!

Yes! The cameras puts out it's on Adhoc wifi signal. This means that the ZV-E10 doesn't need routers or internet in order to connect to your phone. The ZV-E10 has it's own wireless signal that it puts out in order for your phone to connect to it! I hope this helps! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!👍🏾

Good video. Question for you. Can you go live on KZbin or Facebook from the ZV-E10 through the iPhone out in the field? I know that the ZV-E10 can be used as a live stream camera through a computer but I don’t know if you can do the same through an iPhone.

I do not believe that this is possible. You could however do this if you added a laptop. Basically you would connect the camera to a laptop using software like OBS. You would then create a wireless hotspot with you iPhone and connect your laptop to the internet. This would give you a wireless, portable solution for live streaming with your ZV E-10. Some people have stated having issues with connection however, turning off Bluetooth and not being around a lot of other wireless networks makes a HUGE difference! If one lives in a place like and apartment complex, they may experience issues due to all the other Wi-Fi networks broadcasting in the same area at once. The distance truly depends on the environment that you are in. I have done it up to 10-15 feet from the camera and had no issues. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I hope this helps! I just realized I made a typo. I originally put "I have done it up to 10-15 feet from the camera and had TO issues." it should read NO ISSUES! Again I have never done a TEST to see what the maximum distance is however I know that the camera uses WiFi to transfer photos so performance will be based on your cell phones capabilities as well. Yes you can, it's not very smooth though. Sony have a phone called the Sony Xperia PRO 5G that works great as a monitor though! Depending on how you are using your ZV E10, I would suggest getting something like a small hd or Ninja V! They give you extra capabilities like false color and LUTS that the app wont give you. If speed is priority, then a phone is going to be your BEST option. Adding a camera 📷 to your creation process is going to add complexity to your workflow no matter what camera you get. 🤷🏾‍♂️

This app isn’t really that good for long term monitoring, it’s best for a quick glance to make sure things are right! It’s too laggy to be used as a video monitor! I have to agree that the app was TERRIBLE for the A6500! It't MUCH better with the ZV-E10. on iPhone I know that deleting the app and resetting the camera works WONDERS! You also have to sometimes turn off bluetooth. If you are around other wifi networks, this can cause a issues are well. There's an app on Android called WiFi Analyzer by Farproc. This app allows you to see all the SSID's in your area and change the channel on your router it's it's transmitting on the same band as your ZV-E10. I hope this helps! @@quirkworks4076 hey I figured it out. I can understand your frustration because I was going through the same thing. Once you’re on the connection screen, connect using the camera Wi-Fi and after that don’t do anything on the camera, and go to Wi-Fi settings on your phone then connect to it, the Wi-Fi will act like it’s not connected but it’s connected as it’s not proper Wi-Fi. Then, go to the Edging Image App and click “connect with other model” something like that and then boom click “start” and you’re connected and can save videos and photos to your phone. Hope this helps
