But now let’s cripple that fabric and make Hindi as mother tongue of India. Why? Why not integrate other states as unity by facilitating cross states language as additional language to learn right from school days. There you go then - next generation is more Indian.

@rahulthehighlander9 жыл бұрын
Oh, anything for the 90s. Those were such joyous days, days of tension free lives, great times at school, endless games with friends and not a care in the world. Those were days without cellphones, ipads or the electronic junk of today. Where the only tension in my world was getting scolded by Mom and Dad, when the only money we had were a few rupees in our Duckback school bags, when "Superhit Muqabla" was a must watch, when "Dekh bhai dekh" ruled the then newly launched DD Metro, when owning a Maruti 800 was considered a status symbol, when Dad's trusted scooter, older than me, used to take my sister to her classes, when we as kids knew and got excited when the rain fell for the first time on dry earth, when making a trip by train to meet relatives and cousins were events we looked forward to months in advance, and a time when family was all around always. And cut to today, 15 yrs post the year 2000, while we've all made good progress materially, we've become hollow to the core. No amount of technology can take us back to the good old days. Anything for a time machine now...

OMG this song transports me back to my teen years instantly. Those days of school, playing with friends after class, listening to music on Walkman, getting beat by teachers for not doing homework, lullabys of my grandma (passed away since), watching Rangoli and Chandrakanta on DD1 on Sunday, not being able to talk in front of my first crush ... gosh I'm so teared up writing this. That's true for any decade, including our own. For example, we THINK there's a major difference between Ariana Grande and Kpop, but thirty years from now when we look back on our era, we would see that they both captured the spirit of the 2010s/2020s.
