Can you make a pallavi out of just one word: premisthunna? Seems impossible but Vijai pulled it off. It's like watching a high-wire act to see the word being stretched by the singer. You wonder where he's going with it, then you see he's set up a tension at the end of the first premisthunna, which is answered/satisfied by the next premisthunna. This was an unusual tune, an experiment that worked. The makers should have an appreciation function for the music, with other music composers like Thaman and DSP invited to comment on the creativity shown by Vijai.
