Oh yh, those two are both Lucia. The white haired one, Alpha, is the og Lucia and our Lucia is a clone. Og Lucia got betrayed and abandoned by her old commandant, became an ascendant and they made a clone of her which is our Lucia :D

Imo you can't consider Alpha as the original Lucia since the original is a human. Both Alpha and Lucia are robots with Lucia's memories implanted into them so they can both be considered clones

So if you see a character having multiple other forms and one character that has none, it's because of the story

@@JordinKun Hope you enjoy playing it more! The beginner experience of pgr is a bit wonk and the early chapters lwk suck so most players quit before they reach level 80, but on later chapters (like at 8,9) it gets wayyy more interesting so it's better to just stick around and see how you like it!

@@JordinKun When you do check out the coatings, don't forget to scroll down, there are a lot (Some have more than 5 coatings) and you can zoom in and out too. I don't remember but I think you can test each character in Celica's class. But that might not be open until you reach a certain Captain Rank.

@@JordinKun Coating are fucking insane in PGR, like all those advertisements popping up when you start the game? That's just the new coatings, and there's probably like 200 coatings in this game, some literally turn the characters... into completely different characters, almost like the coatings are their own frames as well xD And a big number of them come with unique animations, special effects and unique voice lines. Some, especially in this patch even come with their own story. Like the three summer skin and the Karenina Idol skin actually have a story you can play through and UNLIKE the main story those are fully VOICED, but only in Japanese, and the Karenina one for some reason only in Chinese. The new special effects coatings even come with Trial stages so you can take a look what the special effects and animations look like^^

Few things to know and/or look forward to: -There are coatings, skins for the characters. Many change the attack effects, animations, etc and even voicelines sometimes -There are multiple free S-rank selectors (though it's mostly older characters) -There's a once-per-account feature where you can select any S-rank in the game (excluding the two latest ones, though all future characters get added to it once they're 2 patches old) -There are 3 S-rank characters you can get without pulling, which are amplifiers: Selena Capriccio, Ayla Kaleido, and Alisa Echo. First from her gamemode, the other two from dorm commissions, no pulling needed. -There are tons of gamemodes that just let you play as any characters you don't have: Mainly the permanent ones are Recitativo Di Fantasia, Cursed Waves (you get a free skin if you finish it), and Derived From Matrix. -Basic banner lets you choose what A-ranks to get outright at a rate up of 80%. Makes RNG way less of a factor. -Spending is absolutely not needed. Just doing your dailies and weeklies will get you enough for every future character. -If you do wanna spend though, Monthly Pass A ($5/month) is the best by a long shot, and everything else feels like a scam in comparison. THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP: Just have fun and don't EVER listen to meta slaves. Competing in PGR is pointless. ALL currency rewards in "competitive" modes are participation based, not performance based.

So Roland: Flambeau and Qu: Pavo, the sword guy and green chick in your top 3, are both Uns, special characters for special maps that have their own special mechanics. They also have their own banner with a lower pity, which makes them easier to obtain. However, they get a debuff for each normal character, called Omns, on their team. Doubly however, they're also strong as hell at base, so it's really just lowering them to the level of a regular S-rank. The other in your top 3, Lee: Hyperreal, is my main, so I may be slightly biased, but he is a really great character. As someone who also has ADHD, getting to zoom around the field, spamming 3-pings, and blowing shit up is always fun. This patch introduced a system where you can pick the first S-rank you get on the standard banner from any of the S-rank Omns from two patches ago and older, including Lee: Hyperreal. And there are also Novice Guidance missions, found at the middle-bottom of the main menu, that gives you a bunch of pulls for the standard banner. And yeah, you should probably use those to get like Bianca: Stigmata or Lucia: Crimson Weave, or someone more meta, but I am slightly, incredibly biased, and will recommend Lee instead. Also, the best tank for his team is the new Watanabe frame that will be releasing in global in like 2 months. If you thought the OG Watanabe was cool, you'll definitely like him. So Lucia's lore basically: Alpha is the original Lucia. Ever since she left Babylon and rebelling against them, Babylon creates a copy of Lucia frame based on Alpha's.

Can't believe i completely forgot about this video until today (blame IRL work) It's funny to see people not realize that PGR PC Client has been a thing for like.... over a year at this point (ever since May 2023). And around the exact same time, English voice acting had been implemented across all servers (yes you can use english voices even on the most upto date cn servers) One funny thing to note about the nier units is that, while yes they will use their POD skills if you try to attack from range, but during the nier collab event (that was initially the Global server's 1st Anniversary, and then reran once a bit before the 2nd Anniversary), is within the event itself, you had the ability to use your PODs as a full on AI and they had their own equipable chip system for triggerable attacks. It was very cool to see. Also yes, they have started to basically make A rank models on par with S rank models since about a year now, even gameplay wise -somewhat, not really damage wise-

There r 2 types of characters in the game Omns and Uns. All Vanguards r uns and all others r Omns. U cant put them together whole team will loss 30% of their attack state. But Un have seperate banner with 10pull pity.(10th pull will be a vanguard with 80% chance of your chosen character) Vanguards also have access to special move like Intaskill, Perry and Dodge counter for some specific enemies. Btw we don't really use healers anyone Amplifiers have taken their jobs.

There is controller support it just takes a bit to setup due to all the buttons just for the Pings alone but once you do you it feels great. Also you best toss yourself into Celica class to learn some characters especially the A ranks like Noctis because they are NOT designed like SRs in other games. They're literally designed like an SSR but without the bigger numbers that S ranks got.

Yeah the pc mouse and keyboard controls and rebinding works perfectly, especially with putting the auto attack on a thumb button. Upon launching to l the first tutorial section those options aren't really available but you just gotta get past it to get to the options.

If you gonna start PGR at the beginning get a Mentor system in game , the lvl1-lv60 of the game is so boring that's why many beginners wont last and didn't reach the end game. Mentor system will make you lvl faster and lot of rewards
