Soothing Sounds of Sebring: Ambient Relaxation

This is a single shot video of the Ulmann straight during the 12 hours of Sebring about 20 minutes long and played in a loop for 2 hours. I made this video to listen to while I fall asleep but you could also use it to wake up, or just enjoy in the background during the day while relaxing, doing chores, being intimate with your partner, organizing a stamp collection, bathing some cats, the possibilities are nearly endless. To me, not only is the actual sound of the cars flying past relaxing, but to me it’s a reminder of my happy place. To listen to this sound transports me to a place where all the stress from the world is gone if only for a short time. Racing and all things cars are pure escapism for all of us who enjoy these videos. For me specifically it silences the monsters in my head.

Lanky Turtle I couldn't agree more. I go to Daytona every year (just booked flights and hotel for 2019 a few weeks ago) but sometimes the ambient sound is so perfect; best way to take yourself back.

Since my son was born hes been listening to this, hes 2 months now and this calms him down as soon as i press play. Everyday i play this video for him💙 its his favorite! If i shut it off and hes not sleeping all the way he'll get pissed till i turn it back on lol

This is great, I am a corner worker and when I'm wearing the headset and the weather is just right the cars are like a lullaby, makes you want to sleep, every once in a while you got to take the headset off and let the roar of the engines wake you back up. Love it

As a big car guy with some attention problems, I find that one of the only things I can really give my attention to unbroken is cars. Now, this is a bit of an issue, ESPECIALLY in school. This was even more exaggerated when I moved over 500km away from home for University, leaving my racing simulator at home (only so much can fit in my mom's car lol). I've found that this video gives my brain a happy medium of car sounds, while also not being too distracting, and thus I've been here for 2 unbroken hours just locked in and studying. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this video, definitely not when my brain happily screams "THAT RSR JUST FLEW BY AGAIN" while I'm studying blood vessels for my anatomy course lol. Anyways, much love from Ottawa, Canada, and thanks for helping me study

This is definitely one of the better race engine sounds videos! I think I might could fall asleep to this one. GREAT job compiling as well as editing the audio to be so clear amd fulfilling. If someone could make something like this,but instead of it being race cars passing by a stationary microphone, it be constant in-car audios of the engine during races...

Although I was also at the Sebring 12h I couldn't do the continuous Filming of 1 Spot cause my camera was pictures only ;-; But thank god you understand my need to enjoy the ambiance of what is arguably my favorite racing era. Too bad this was at Night so the Acura Dpi V6 wasn't in my ears. Atleast I still got the NSX GT3

They could add LMP3 at some point if the GT3 market crashes and the field gets too small. The original PC cars are no longer made and are getting pretty old now so I don't think we will see them again.
