roselyn rajoo Thank you Roselyn , the Punjab , which gave the world the greatest Human Beings who have ever lived on planet Earth and the cradle of civilisation which is obliterated from mainstream academia because of racism and given away to the Muslims by the British government as the last insult to Sophia Daleep Singh's grandfather , Ranjit Singh, The Lion Of Punjab because they could not defeat him whilst he was alive, despite having the largest Empire the world has ever known ! Ironically the British are paying a karmic price for giving away the Sikh sovereign state of Punjab to the Hindus and Muslims and especially the Muslims , because the creation of Pakistan has been a disaster to the world with Pakistan being a nexus of regional and global Islamic Terror and the Pakistani immigrant community in Great Britain spearheading the Islamic takeover of Great Britain without any problems whatsoever so far, but the British are slowly waking up and civil war is extremely likely with the SIKHS being looked up to , to save it like in the two world wars ! So Sophia Daleep Singh's family may have the last laugh if the SIKHS save it from the monsters it created in 1947 !

roselyn rajoo The madness of giving her Grandfather's sovereign state to the Muslims and Hindus has been a disaster for the entire world with Pakistan and India bastions of misogyny, sectarian hatred and violence against anything that moves ! The British government then didn't know what they were doing like they don't know what to do with the huge Pakistani population in Great Britain who are plotting and planning to take over Britain and turn it into an Islamic state for their Saudi Arabian masters ! Perhaps it's the 'KARMIC' price they're paying for such evil perpetrated against The Lion Of Punjab, Ranjit Singh only because they could not defeat him while he was alive !

History is only boring if you focus on names and dates. What brings history alive is knowing the lives of those who took part. This is what I like, an insight on the people that made history. So, thank you History Guy. :) Oh, and the age of vote should be like 35 or something. Have something to lose before you make your mark.

I"m really enjoying your videos! Thanks! I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but has anyone requested an episode about Prudence Crandall? I think I first learned about her from a short mention in a biography of Elizabeth Cady Stanton or Susan B. Anthony in the early 1970s. I tried to find out as much as I could, but then there was very little information available, especially to someone out in the middle of Iowa. I looked her up on Wikipedia and there's more. She was quite a heroic woman in the education of young black girls in Connecticut and her community's reaction proves that racism was not confined to the slave states. The lady had guts.

Actually the British did not originally invade the Sikh Punjab nor did they desire to. For various internal reasons mostly to do with differences between Jind Kaur and the Sikh Army (Khalsa) the Khalsa invaded British territory. They very nearly beat the British too but my point is that for once the British didn't actively go seeking to take an Empire. For one thing the Khalsa was an excellent and professional army which acted as a buffer from Afghanistan muslims. Another was that the East India Company didn't really have the resources. Also the opinion of many British back home was that the British simply didn't need to expand further.
