You’re Fantastic Sophia. You deserve a beautiful room and I know you’ll have it. You’re a wonderful person. Tonight I had a rough evening and I came in my room to be alone. I needed a friend and I put KZbin on for company and there you were with a video. You made me feel better just watching you work and you chatting away about your plans for the white blue and gold room you’re making. The sanding came great Sophia. You took my mind off of my problems for a while and reminded me that life is what we make it. We can choose what we bring in and what we push out. We just have to stay focused and do the work. For the inside, why not put a couple of more pieces horizontally then paint all of it white. On the horizontal pieces you could put hooks for belts, necklaces, earrings, etc.. you’d have a place for a shoe horn, a lint roller, pin cushion, etc. on the top of those same pieces. Voila!

With some clever Command Hook placement on the inside I think you could get some decent jewellery or scarf/belt storage area in there 🤔

Lovely job ,I would leave it white for a while to reflect the light, and as a background for pictures if in 6 months when you live with a completed room , then paint a job which takes an hour

When you are finished make sure you change furnace filters. Sheetrock dust goes everywhere.

I would paint it white once the room is completed you can change the colour if you prefer. Flooring will change the room maybe a wood look floor with a large rug combining the colours of the room. You have done a fantastic job well done.

You probably already know but just in case, make sure the dust is wiped off the walls really well before painting and I guess even wallpapering. I had a handyman do some drywall and painting for me and I'm guessing he didn't wipe the walls off that good and about 2years later the paint started peeling off. Also your doing an excellent job 👍

For future reference they make something called a drywall sponge. You wet it and then use that for the final sanding. It smooths out the mud nicely.

You can do cedar planks or shiplap or paint paneling white inside the closet.

This reminds me of when I was in manicurist school and they were teaching us how to do acrylic nails. When you’re brand new at something, you just have to put more on and sand off the excess until you get the shape you want. It takes more time, of course, but it can be done! I’m proud of you and yes you deserve it.

we had a wall added and we had textured surface on our walls which is called knock down texture so we had it done so it would match the rest of the house did want to mess with that

Great job. You said blue was going to be part of your color scheme. We painted our living room naval by Sherwin Williams and it is awesome! I think you would like the color, it is deep and dramatic and beautiful. It did take three coats, but it is so pretty.
