My Cleaning Routine || Saturday ||

This is Day Six and the last day in My Weekly Cleaning Routine Series - On Saturday, I clean the kitchen and prep it for the upcoming week, we call it kitchen Back To Zero.
Declutter
Wipe all small appliances
Wipe all counters
Scrub the cutting board
clean stove top and oven
Clean the microwave
Clean front of fridge
Wipe all cabinets
Vacuum and Mop
If time permits, I may add a few tasks including reorganizing under the sink area, clean windows or clean inside the fridge.
I am filming every day to share my cleaning routine with you. This is my own routine, not based on any system, as I have failed with all of them. This is what I clean on specific days of the week to maintain my home clean and tidy. My lifestyle is very busy and does not allow a lot of time for thorough cleaning, so like most, I do the best I can and when I can. I do try to have a structure and follow it. I have been doing this since January 2023 and it works for me! I hope this series inspires you to find your own pace and your own routine. Thanks for sharing your weekly cleaning routine! It's way too rigorous for me but I don't have any kids or pets here anymore so I'm able to keep the house clean by doing quick cleans in the kitchen and bathroom each day and taking care of dust and dirt as I notice it. The mancave and bathroom downstairs are a different story... not my circus, not my monkeys!

I do the same Sophia, in the kitchen I cleaned sections first I do the dishes, then clean counter are around sink, clean then stove area, then fridge area etc but other rooms I do one task at a time, make bed, straighten up put clothes away, then dust, vacuum etcMakes perfect sense to me! 💜 as sit in the couch and watch you while I do nothing today 🤪 I decluttered a bin of paper work earlier today ugggh that’s was enough!

What a great series. We have an oversized house (for the 2-days a year all the kids are here) and I struggle with finding a routine, especially since some of the spaces are rarely used. You have given some great tips!
