I love how your collection feels like it actually gets used - don't feel bad that the bags are slotted into your cabinets in a bit of a mish-mash - that's part of the charm. Too many bag/closet tours seem like museum exhibitions or sterile displays, where everything is so pristine that you can't imagine any of the bags are ever taken down off their position on the shelf. This is a lot more fun, I see you rummaging in your collection, pulling out something from the back that you haven't used in a while. There's a lot more personality to it that way!

Honestly, it's a breath of fresh air to see your mess! Most of luxury youtubers bags display it's so organized that I personally don't feel authentic. I did watch the Luxury Promise episode when David bought you the vintage Chanel. It was so sweet, especially seeing how touched, surprised and happy you were. OH I CLICKED SO FAST. That choker you're wearing looks so good. My favorite thing about your bag collection is how realistic it is. Not wasting space and having every single bag facing forward and "on display" you literally just put your bag in a spot and that's that. A suggestion: sort according to colour. That will avoid colour transfer issues. Large at the back, smaller at the front. Just put the dust bags to separate but not fully enclose. Then you can see what you have at a glance. Colour sorting makes getting ready much faster. it also looks much less of a jumble.

@@babagonzales Thanks! The other thing is it helps you get dressed at a glance. It's colour first with an outfit so you can easily sort through them; you aren't going to substitute different colours as easily as different shapes. JIMO, but equally you aren't going to wear a tote if you're wanting something for evening... it just works better for me for daytime. FWIW

Just a suggestion for safety reasons you can insert a Tile that’s shaped like a credit card into each purse and you can track them via your cell phone using the Tile app ! Also turn your alarm on at night or when your away ! Two of the house wives of Beverly hills a reality show in america got robbed after doing closet reveal they stole all their handbags ! Stay safe ! Sophie, I love to see your collection! I think I may know the reason why the vintage leather Chanel bags look and last longer. The quality and skill of the processing , the portion of the skin that was removed, and the layers within the hide also have an enormous impact on the quality of the leather/durability. My guess is that with the demand of Chanel and cost to produce they may have (just a guess) changed one of more of these and we are seeing side effects of that with the quality and durability :( . Again, it's just a guess

Completely agree with Sophie on dedicated space to display. I considered upgrading to a 2BR flat in my building as a dressing and storing room. It would cost $1500 more per month for that second bedroom. My bags and shoes will continue to be a bit chaotic in a 1BR!

Thank you for doing this video!! I love seeing your collection, and a beautiful collection it is!! I totally agree about not letting your bags touch, BUT Sophie…I’m stressing about the chain/leather straps on you Chanel bags draping over the top! That can leave more marks than the bags touching each other. Once I realized that, I now use a pure cotton piece of material or a spare sleeper felt to separate the chain strap from the bag, especially on top where most of the weight is. Love love love your vintage Chanel bags. I have a vintage medium double flap that I adore. With the quality issues that Chanel has developed I’m a total vintage Chanel gal now. Great video Sophie and I hope you don’t mind me mentioning the chains. I’m a tad obsessive. I love your favourite bag as well and it has a great strap drop length compared to some others. Love it! What a sweetheart David is to have bought the vintage square for you! I just love vintage; maybe it’s because I’m a bit vintage myself LOL.

Love to see your bag storage is no better than mine! We do have a walk in wardrobe, but it's tiny (I'd quite like to kick my husband out of his half, then it'd be a great size for me - he's a keeper, so I'll keep the status quo). We built our house, so we didn't have to give up a bedroom, but we did fit it out with wardrobes from IKEA, and they work perfectly. I'd love to see the rest of your collection, the rest of your collection is probably more within my budget.
