Labor breathing helped me a lot. I didn’t take pills or anything because I was too much focused on my breathing instead. It was a constant pain for me that lasted 2 hours. Currently going through my 2nd miscarriage at 7 weeks. The first one was a “chemical” right after I found out I was pregnant. This one is different, we had time to tell family, time to enjoy being pregnant (as I found out early around 3.5 weeks) I was spotting for around a week and got blood work that didn’t look good, started bleeding and several clots more bloodwork that day revealed start of miscarriage at 7w2days. Praying this is over soon as I believe I passed a large amount of tissue a few hours ago. One day I will have my rainbow baby. As of right now we have two beautiful babies in heaven.

I miscarried yesterday at home in the same exact way. I have a lot of guilt for flushing the toilet. I kind of knew what it was but I didn’t. My partner and I looked at it. I wish we did give it some form of a burial. When I went to the ER the ultrasound showed there was nothing left in my uterus so that just confirmed what we saw was the remains. This was our first pregnancy and whereas I’m grateful I didn’t experience much physical pain this is still so painful. Prayers to all of us and our partners. Experienced a miscarriage four days ago. Had no idea what to expect and whether it was a miscarriage, so I went to ER to have it checked out. At ER I felt an urgent need to go to the bathroom, and suddenly big pieces of what seems like liver just came out of me..as if it dropped out. At this moment I knew. This carried on for 8 hours of which the cramps got worse and closer together (as with contractions assumedly). I started feeling dizzy due to blood loss and had extreme pain before they took me to theatre. As with you Sophie, I felt numb afterwards. Thereafter, I could not stop crying and allowing myself to grieve. At the age of 45, this would have been our first baba. Hoping it is not too late. Thanks for your sharing. Mine first one just passed out this morning. It was an extremely painful experience. I decided to let it pass naturaly because I don't like surgery or any unnatural way to deal with my body. I saw some ppl had better passing experience with much less pain. Lucky them. Mine was totally the opposite. I was calling God the whole time cause it's unbearable. But after a few hours heavy bleeding and cramping, it finally came out. Now I took my day off and lying on the bed. I decided to lying on bed for three days. It's tough. And it definitely can be a life-death situation if you are not strong or healthy enough. Pls we need to learn to take care ourselves.

What helped me allot with the cramps while miscarriage was to run a hot bath , that did so much wonder for me, I was literally exhausted and almost passed out so the warm Bath made me fall asleep and kept me relaxed, it was a crime scene real blood bath but I made it, I would never wish this on my worst enemy, it makes me affraid to try again for another baby. ❤

Hi. I’m watching your video right now as I’m in the bath tub crying my eyes out. I just passed my gestational sac around 3PM and the bleeding calmed down a few hours later. I don’t know how I feel and this is my first miscarriage. I have a 6 year old who is healthy and I am so grateful for. But this is just hurting me so badly and I feel so alone. I don’t think anyone around me really understands how I have been truly feeling. My body feels broken and I feel so sad over it. I get told to just appreciate the child I have, I get told that it was too early to be a real child, that it’s only 6 weeks. @@kuyzarnelcardejon It's very common. It's because the pregnancy hormones cam take some time to leave your system, even after the miscarriage. I was advised by my doctor to take a test two weeks after the start of the miscarriage to check that it is negative. If it's still positive, you may have some retained pregnancy tissue so will need to seek medical advice. If it's negative at two weeks then you know it is ok to start trying to conceive again, as long as there are no other medical issues xx

There are way more miscarriages than what most people know, often even before the woman knows that she is pregnant. Biologically, for a healthy baby to grow is just a miracle as sooo much can go wrong, especially in the early stages of the fetal deveolpment. In fact, the majority of natural miscarriages are due to developmental errors, such as chromosomal abnormalities and extreme disabilities, that the fetus would not have/did not survive. It is an emergency button by mother nature to end a pregnancy that would have not succeeded anyway and to make room for another attempt for a healthy baby.

Thank you so much for this video. We learned this morning that our baby’s heart beat has slowed to a nonviable rate at 7 weeks and miscarriage is imminent. We go back on Tuesday for a follow up ultrasound but they don’t anticipate finding a heartbeat by then. They’ll likely have us wait to miscarry naturally at home and will talk options for a D&C if things don’t progress on their own. I’m terrified for the inevitable and the grief is unbearable. After years of infertility I found out I was pregnant April 19th, 2023 & I had a “chemical pregnancy” miscarriage yesterday/ April 22. I am currently experiencing these things. Thank you for sharing. The doctor said I was 2-3 weeks pregnant. Even though I was only pregnant for a short time. I thank God for the moment in time 😢😢. I had a miscarriage at what my doctor thinks was 7-8 weeks my boyfriend and I were not trying to get pregnant or anything it was a mistake and I didn’t even know I was pregnant when it was happening. I thought I was just having a normal heavy period but as it got in to the early hours of the morning I just could not take the pain, I thought my appendix bursted I thought I like tore my uterus something like that I was just so confused and in so much pain. My boyfriend took me to the ER and when I was brought back they did an exam and took a look at what I passed and that’s when they confirmed I was in fact pregnant and miscarrying, it was terrifying for the both of us we were not ready to have kids we didn’t want kids at all ever so you think we’d be glad I was miscarrying the pregnancy but there was still such a big feeling of loss and sadness it was horrible

i’m 16 years old . i had felt many weeks ago that i was pregnant , my boyfriend and i laughed it off as a joke . but i genuinely felt like i was , my intuition was telling me i was . i was experiencing the symptoms , i got these really bad cramps which felt like contractions . i dunno how to explain it but you know how pregnant women breathe during labor ? well i found that that’s what really helped dull the pains , once i felt my cramps slow down , i ran to the bathroom and that’s when i saw . we are young & we are not ready , but to think there was a life growing inside of me . it really hurts to think i had to flush my child.

Thank you for sharing your story, it gives me hope for the future. I have had 5 miscarriages in total, my first ever pregnancy ended in loss, then I had my rainbow baby boy. I had my second miscarriage, then another Rainbow baby boy. And now in the last three months, i have had 3 miscarriages or "chemical pregnancy" as it is commonly known as, back to back, and I am beside myself and feel quite desperate and hopeless at the moment. But your story gives me hope, and I was unaware that I can receive referrals here in the UK after 3 or more losses. The doctor I spoke with today simple told me "it's one of those things and it happens to lots of women, and just to take another pregnancy test in a week or two to make sure I have definitely lost the pregnancy" I just sobbed my heart out after that phone call, a little compassion would have made all the difference. I am truly blessed to have my two beautiful boys and never want to seem ungrateful, but it still hurts none the less doesn't it ladies?

My gestional sac was empty... I start crying in the hospital and the nurse was almost crying too. I was sent home just to wait for all to pass naturally... it was hell. The pain is terrible. In my opinion is very unfair that abortion clinics remove and kill a baby alive. But when the baby is dead inside of you they just send u home to pass it naturally..... 😡 anyway it's been 2 days... My head is all over the place right now, I have so many questions, was it my age? Was it my medication? Was it my underactive thyroid? @Sl33PY!N4Y Thank you 💖🩷💖🩷💖, mine stopped after a couple of days, I was 5 weeks, I think if you are further along you do tend to bleed for a little longer. I have read that if you are bleeding for over 3 weeks you need to ring your gp as it's a lot of blood loss, I think you should ring your gp and let them know. I ovulated two weeks after the miscarriage and now two weeks later I have a faint positive pregnancy test. I was tracking my ovulation with learblue digital ovulation tests and by using my flow app on my phone. You will have your rainbow baby, just track your ovulation daily getting the ovulation tests are expensive but it will be so worth it 💖🩷💖🩷💖🩷💖🩷💖🩷💖🩷. This is the .most. supportive and informational video I have seen on miscarriage. I am currently in the middle of my own and find myself wondering why the hell my midwife didn't tell me any of this. They offered me a pill or the d&c, but I opted to wait to see if I would pass naturally instead. I have googled over and over again to find this kind of information and just happened upon this video. Currently going through one now for the first time after trying 9 months with my husband to get pregnant. The fetus actually passed/ came out on September 3rd. So 4 days from the time that I actually found out. I didn’t pass any big clots all all, only some bleeding and then the fetus. I’m 16 and yesterday I had a miscarriage in the bath. I was on call with my fiancé and we both just thought it was my period until I saw these parts that came out. i think i has a miscarriage earlier this year. it acted as a regular period BUT the pain was very not normal. i had to scream in my pillow for days, and hours at a time through out it. one of the worst experiences i’ve had in awhile. it really messed with my mental health and i had to check into a behavioral health facility.

Thanks for this. Currently going through this after 3 rounds of ivf. For me I had cramping then light bleeding which is what indicated something was wrong. A few hours later I felt a tugging feeling then lots of clots. I was still on medication however when I stopped taking this, around 24hours later I felt really intense pain for a few hours and passed the pregnancy tissue. I was in work at this time and it really was agony. The pain eased to mild cramps after this and paracetamol was enough. This happened yesterday and cramps have pretty much eased now. Bleeding moderately. Horrific experience for anybody and I’m so sorry for anybody who has gone through this. Sending love to all 💕

This video was helpful. I miscarried for the first time yesterday and I am currently still going through the bleeding. I had no idea what to expect. My doctor’s staff sort of explained it but they kind of sugar coated it and I needed more detail. I wish I would’ve found this video before the passing yesterday but when it happened I was very clear about what was going on. I’m still cramping and I’m on my last day of pain meds prescribed by the emergency room staff. I’m pretty positive that I passed the entire sack so there shouldn’t be much left to pass if anything. However, the pain is still worse than my normal cramps. I’ll try alternating the meds you suggested to see if it helps. Not sure who is still waiting for the passing but warm baths helped me in between pain pills. I soaked in a warm bath and immediately after, I sat on the toilet, felt some light pressure and heavy bleeding, then it passed. I definitely waited before flushing. Some may think it’s weird but I took a picture of it as well because I knew my doctor was going to ask for details and I’m awful at recalling specific details in situations like these. I was more emotional about the pain than I was about the actual passing. The night before was painful and I ended up spending about 8hrs being poked and prodded in the ER. I basically had a missed miscarriage and the process was pretty drawn out so I had all my emotions when I first found out. My doctor was scheduling me for a dnc so I had to call and notify her that it passed on its own but apparently the fetus hasn’t been viable for about 2 weeks so I was becoming at risk of getting an infection. Heating pads, pain meds, water, lots of pads, and rest is what I've been living off of for about 4 days. My husband and I are very disappointed and are handling it differently. He wants to try again immediately and I want to wait. I just want the entire process to be over so I can move past it then maybe I can think about what to do next. Anyway, thank you for sharing your experiences and I’m sorry that you all have experienced/are experiencing this type of loss. It’s definitely something that isn’t easy to explain or fully process all at once. Praying for your physical and spiritual healing along with my own. ❤️

So sorry for your loss hun, I'm commenting because guys doesn't understand what we are going through because they really haven't had a connection like us. So that is why it was so easy for them to say let try again. I was so pissed with my husband when I lost our Angel 😇son at 7mth stillborn due to placenta abruption was the worst for me then a early miscarriage in which I experienced 3 miscarriage and a stillborn. He said the same thing let's just try again and at the time because of my emotions and what I experienced I was done. Nevertheless God changed my heart so I'm willing to try again. Just don't hold it against your husband cause they don't understand the connection we have cause they don't technically get to bond with the baby until it gets here. Be bless my sister 🙏🏾

Thanks for this video. I’m currently experiencing this and I was unprepared for the pain! I knew there would be cramping and bleeding but it literally feels like my body is giving birth but to blood clots only. Horrible feeling! Having nausea, back, leg, and knee pain as well.

Thank you for this. We are having a very early miscarriage and I had sloke to my Dr. And they were very unhelpful with what to expect and what's normal... They just said unfortunately it looks like it wan an early miscarriage. That was it. You made it very helpful as I've been googling and just going crazy for information. You have helped me so much. Thank you for sharing your story , your video was so helpful. This is my second pregnancy and at my first ultrasound appointment they told me there was no heartbeat. I’m going back in a week and half for another ultrasound to be sure. I’m still in shock and the doctor just sent me home without explaining what to expect. I’m currently just resting but had no idea what aI would go through. You explained everything. I’m still hopeful that maybe my pregnancy wasn’t so far along to hear a heartbeat but I’m torn since the doctor said she was almost sure it was a miscarriage.

I'm currently waiting for my miscarriage to start after being told today my HCG has significantly dropped. I've had one other miscarriage but I had a D&C so I really didn't know what to expect. I am going through this right now for the first time. I appreciate your honesty and for sharing such a personal journey. I somehow feel less alone so know that you're helping a lot. I just don't know if I could survive going through this again. I wonder how you were able to keep trying, especially after multiple losses. I want to try again but I'm paralyzed with fear. I'm sure this is a common feeling, I just don't know how to move forward.

I found out at 9 weeks that my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I would be 11 weeks pregnant and my body still has not miscarried. I decided against the medication and am waiting for my body to do it naturally. I have been spotting on and off for about a week now and things seem to slowly be picking up. So it can take several weeks even for your body to miscarry, and that is never fun. But I really appreciate this video, thank you so much. It is helping me to know what to expect.

I've given birth to 4 children... so I'm not new to pregnancy and all it's surprises. But I had my period all last week. Saturday was my last day of period. I often have little headaches on a daily basis, but two days later, Monday, I started having one of the worst headaches and it was very unusual compared to my usual headaches. I ended up crying by the afternoon and my back was aching. My husband has never really had a headache, so he doesn't understand my pain, but even that day he was making phone calls to see what we could do to fix me. Eventually, I went to the restroom and noticed my period was back! I used a "super" tampon, but a couple hours later, I felt that it was already time to change it... which is unusual. When I went to change it, that's when I passed a huge blood clot the size of my finger! The only other time I've lost a blood clot like this was when I had a miscarriage a couple years ago. Mind you, I wasn't trying to get pregnant. I'm 38. My husband is 45. Together, we have 7 children. So....I didn't think it was a miscarriage because I didn't think I was pregnant. I just had my period! Immediately, I went to the store and bought a pregnancy test. I took the test in the store bathroom and it came back positive. I called my doctor, but they can't get me in for over a month. I'm not bleeding anymore after that clot passed 4 days ago, but all day, everyday, I'm still having this terrible headache that's unusual from my "normal" headaches. It's unbearable at times. I don't feel like myself. My mid back is still aching, which it never does until now. I don't want to, but I guess my best next step is to go to the emergency room. I just don't know what's going on.
