LOGANAIR | Benbecula - Stornoway | Saab 340 | Trip Report | Full Flight

Good morning, my little winglets! Wecome back to another SOPLANE trip report. This week we are back in Scotland and taking the short hop from Benbecula to Stornoway on Scotland's Airline, Loganair. This was a super-short flight at only 20 minutes which meant that there was no inflight service. Still, the flight was great, especially for the views. I can't say enough, how much I like the Loganair cabin on these old ladies. They are so clean and modern. Such a big step up from the Flybe days! Hope you enjoy this short flight with me.

Oh yes I have read about that! So good for the island communities! Now they don't have to go via LHR anymore.

Stunning views! Scotland is so beautiful! How many passengers were there on your flight? I cannot imagine there to be too many. I wonder how many return trips that FA does in a day with flights being so short. Oh, I was a bit disappointed by the captain....he does not speak in a Scottish accent!! 😂

LOL....I had the same thought about the captain! LOL. Yeah, there weren't that many people on that flight. There were maybe 10? Is there not like a legal limit to how many sectors FAs are allowed to fly in a day?

A fun fact about SYY, It was the airport that Airbus tested there New A350 at the time, they tested if I could do touch and goes, it went there because of its big runway.

@@SOPLANETUBE I think the Benbecula-Stornaway flight is subsidised by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar which is the council authority of the western isles.
