One thing I noticed is their daughter us big too so yes eating habits played a part but genetics did as well. So basically Ginny was probably never super thin like the mistresses or even the wives in some cases. Yes she aged but john must have really loved her because assuming she was her daughters size when they met, it is still 150 pounds smaller but I think it is sweet john loved her for her.
