sora's stop is really his most OP move ever so long as the enemy can't resist it. In kh1, you can cast magic like a mad man, and sora can hold so mana mp regening items, its ridiculous, sora could have just popped stop from the start, and kept casting it until pit was dead if he was kh1 sora, basically sora could have pulled the phantom fight if he wanted to. To be able to cast stop, means it doesn't matter how fast you are, sora will win so long as he can get one stop off to begin with. Especially if sora is trained to have the max possible mp, because stops calculation on it is 2seconds + max mp points (the absolute max is 18), which means sora can stop anyone who doesn't resist the stop for upto 20 seconds, wailing on them the whole time, and cast it 9 times just on one mp bar set. This alone would have been enough time to last that entire fight in the video, but not only can sora cast 180 seconds of stop, but can also drop 8 elixers (i think max) to replenish his mp to full, which adds up to 1440 seconds of stop, but not only that, sora also replenishes mp as he attacks raising his mp further, allowing for even more casting, and once he runs out, if he has the ability mp rage, he will restore mp from getting hurt. Sora is an absolute beast. Now the question is does pit resist stop, well his projectiles didn't he still might. But actually the answer is no he isn't, because of the fact he didn't resist gravity, and resistance for both gravity and stop are paired together, such that if you have a resistance of one you have both, and if you don't have one you don't have the other. Thereby pit is susceptible to at least 1440 seconds of sora beating the crap out of him at least, not to mention getting extra hits in when stop ends and the enemy staggers from all the hits they took, before casting stop again.

My issue with the shot a laser to the moon part is that it wasn't to the moon. While it was fired towards the moon it exploded over the Halloween Town keyhole which is how he locked it. Like fireworks . Fire works go up explode then fall back to the ground.

I was about to say, Sora has more of a battle arsenal than Pit does. Along with actual experience in the fields of fighting different types of opponents and monsters, more than Pit had done. Yes, the many enemies Pit fights are Gods and mythology characters including Hades. But those times Pit fought were mostly in the air and not on ground a lot. Granted, he has fought on ground multiple times, but not at the length Sora has done. And let's be honest here, despite only accessing his drive forms from Donald and Goofy? Sora himself, has done amazing feats without too much help from Donald and Goofy. Able to fight and defea multiple enemies and nobodies by himself, fighting Sephiroth by himself, the Ice titan and so on and so fourth. So yeah, Sora out classes Pit greatly and with multiple Magic spells on his disposal? The Arch angel is not going to stand a chance.

I have never really gotten into death battles. I just don't feel like pitting two characters from entirely different universes containing their own laws and appliances to pick the ultimate winner is actually all that fair. Especially if there are biases involved,my main issue with these(often). Sometimes it can work well, but other times you just can smell the favoritism. As a what if scenario,however, it's always fun and interesting to play with but some people take the results of this battle too to heart and end up using it to spread hate on other characters or justify why a character they don't like is "trash" ANYHOW! finally got around to watching this video reaction solely thanks to HMK, otherwise I probably wouldn't even look at the battle. Update:Their judging methodology at the start, laying out the character's strengths and weaknesses seems like a legit way to asses things. Might give this a chance sometime? Update 2: Love the math in this, def giving them a chance again.

But while they did downplay Sora a lot, I fail to see people mentioning the unfair treatment PIT also got by not GIVING him the Great Sacred Treasure. If they wanted to make this fight "fair", they didn't need to "downplay" Sora that hard, and could have given him A LOT MORE of his abilities, but just give Pit the Great Sacred Treasure as well.
