It’s funny I can drop 30 to high 20s on medium but then comes to in game and I’ll do good then slowly fall

that probably just means your mechanical aim is pretty good but you gotta get used to crosshair placement/holding angles

The aim assist in range is suffocating. I notice no matter how much I practice in range, it's not a true test of how good your flicks and aim are. Go into a range and just run your crosshair over a dummy without firing. You'll notice it slow down severely. This will not happen in an actual match, so you'll really only get better by playing until if and when it's adjusted.

Also try to remember this game has quite a variable amount of luck involved. You will have moments that irritate you because Jimmy is just running around wide swinging, firing and not stopping and just frying you left and right with ADS on. While you cannot hit 1st even after perfect aim, counter strafing, and controlling spray. So take some of the mechanical stuff people say with a grain of salt

This game has to have the weirdest aiming settings out of all console shooters I've played. As a big fan of linear curve (which in current state is unplayable in Valo), I've been trying to find anything reliable for 3 weeks straight. Currently sitting on 15 extreme for base, focus and ads on 8 delayed, but might change it any time... They overcooked, when they could've just taken the best parts out of Apex and OW2 settings.

yeah tbh, i found the best way is to just ignore everything and try to get used to one sensitivity without changing any of the advanced settings. then when you're used to it, figure out what areas you're struggling in the most and try to find the setting that can help you adjust

Why when I do the shooting test are my target dummy’s so much further spread out? I have to flick the whole screen almost every dummy. I don’t mind but I’d like to the closed dummy’s as well.

There’s 2 modes time and eliminate elimination is widespread and time is closed within a certain barrier

I tryed to play like 9 / 9 without focus mode and it was so terrible how can you play without focus ?

i think im just more used to the guns/ADS bc of pc valorant? idk i just felt ads was a lot better than focus, although focus on pistols helps a lot

@@theno6362 thank you! i heard from a couple people you don't wanna stay completely still move a little little micro adjustments and always tap cause of the gun bloom and been doing way better! im addicted now🤣🙏💯 and all these console videos ive seen only talk settings not moving etc
