Techically if you wanted you could beat the game with a 1 keyblade card deck it's not really a matter of "can I?" It's a matter of "how long?" Pretty much as long as you know how to avoid the attacks and manage to constantly reload you can beat this with the weirdest decks

The card system was fun for me all the way but I also recommend if your playing re com to put your 0 at the end of your deck so you can quickly break bosses sleight by hitting up on the d pad the hit right you can quickly use the 0

That's not Donald travelling with you... that's his nobody Naxlodd... the secret number 0 member of organisation 13. He's been manipulating you the entire time... back during the keyblade war he told his past self (Donald) to position himself as King Mickey's court wizard so that he could use his pawn Xehanort to get the X-Blade, in order to split himself into a heartless and nobody. The nobody became the leader of organisation 26 (known as organisation 13 to the unenlightened) and came up with the neat idea to call himself Naxlodd His heartless on the other hand became known as Goofy. Goofy needs to act like he is Sora's best buddy so that he comes to rely on him in fights, meanwhile Donald sneakily tries to kill Sora by refusing to heal him when he has 1hp remaining and by casting the corresponding element to heal his fellow nobodies... Think about it... why does Donald never heal you when you need him to... why does he scarf down every potion you give him even when he is at 99% health... Why does he heal up organisation 13 members (and Hades), but never does anything similar in any other game... hmmmm... because he is their leader and is trying to help them to survive the key swinging lunatic without blowing his cover (Why do you think he does it in the one game where Sora's memories are being tampered with). But seriously... a more pressing matter is... why does he give all of Sora's ethers to Goofy (a character who supposedly doesn't have any MP). Because... he is secretly charging his heartless Goofy up with magical energy (on Sora's payroll as well)... Goofy needed an opportunity to unleash his dark power to summon thousands of heartless allies in hollow bastion in KH2, but he needed a time away from Sora in order to charge up... So Naxlodd had his minion Xemnas throw a rock at Goofy to make Sora think he is dead... that's why Mickey couldn't feel Goofy's pulse... he doesn't have one because he is a heartless. Goofy conveniently recovers from traumatic brain injury minutes later with no side effects... coincidence.... I think not. A few other key moments: Who crashes the Gummy Ship into Deep Jungle, hoping to kill Sora... (Donald) Who leaves Sora without a second thought when someone else (Riku) has the Keyblade (Donald) Who tries to kill Sora's heartless before Kairi foils his plan and brings Sora back to human form (Donald) Who conveniently forgets to tell Sora that Aqua is in the Realm Of Darkness... even though he knew she was there the entire time... he could've told Sora any time.. but he decided against it... why? WHO SPENDS THE ENTIRITY OF KINGDOM HEARTS 3 SEARCHING FOR GOOD PLACES TO FIND SOME INGREDIENTS... .HMMMMM... WHO!!!! INGREDIENTS FOR WHAT... HMMM... INGREDIENTS... FOR... WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose we will have to wait for Kingdom Hearts Re:divided 526/47 days over 10 months multiplied by darkness squared: recoded DELUXE EDITION (HD).... to find out more.

As a kid my GBA's L and R button didn't work and I was poor, luckily someone beat the game already from where I bought it from so I went through the entire Riku campaign (couldn't do Sora's cuz you need R + L to get pass the tutorial) without switching cards or combining them. Definitely recommend trying that, its only hard once you get to castle oblivion but then you change a combo so you got dark meteor or dark firaga, whichever is the op blast

Actually peoople do kingdom key challenges all the time at lv1 and i was able to beat it with kingdom key. Kh1 has damage scaling that makes this possible

Late to the party here, but if you want a Riku challenge, try doing a run without going into dark mode. Considering how dark mode activates, that has some rather nasty restrictions, like severely limited card breaking. P.S. To avoid totally bullshitting the challenge, it might be worth it to add the stipulation that duel-abuse is forbidden. Unless that's the only thing that makes the challenge doable.

You get into dark mode and card duels through mostly RNG, well not really. You get into dark mode via card breaks and in riku mode no one plays it like COM they play it like kh1, so it'd just be an annoying run
