I think Takashi is making good content , but there are so many trashy street interview channels copying his channel these days. Some of them are deliberately cherry-picking and gathering only radical opinions, obviously for the sake of views. And the biggest problem is that more and more people on social media are acting like Japan experts who know everything about Japan just from watching these videos. Like "you know? This is normal in Japan." "All Japanese people are blah blah blah." "Huh? I've never been to Japan but I know everything about Japan because a few Japanese people said so in the street video I watched, trust me bro."

With the risk of sounding pretentious, Takashi's channel is a copy of other channels (Which is fine). Definitely not original but good content. He took advantage of the "youtube shorts" boom when it first came out. He also does exactly what you are saying with the cherry picked interviews, he is no different there. What I do like about his videos however, is he is (or seems) open to interview just about anyone with a unique circumstance.
