The studio album is phenomenal, but ya I personally like this version live even better. The vocal harmonies and tandem instrumental work at the end is superb. 🤘🤘

The Devil's Orchard version from this live album is just wonderful and the transition from Cusp of Eternity to Heir Apparent from the same album is my favorite ever. The only thing that doesn't let me tell this is the best concert ever recorded is that Mikael's growls are not at its prime

When I bought Sorceress, I listened to the entire album, sat there for a moment, and played it again. Strange Brew twisted my tiny mind. In a good way. I would recommend that song when you're in a weird mood. Love your show, Lady L . 🤘😎🤘

You should do a double feature with "Weakness" and "Isolation Years" 2 short Opeth gems that reactors overlook a lot.

I think you should play every song from this dvd, mikeals voice sounds fantastic, especially his cleans, but the whole production is so clear.

Cracks me up how every reaction to this concert is people being like "Dat keyboard guy dough!!!". 😂 Seriously, he is great. Usually, when hard rock/metal acts get one of these keyboard guys, it's like LOL, but this guy really pulls his weight. Adds amazing layers and depth to songs both new and even to older songs before he joined the band. Also, outstanding background vocals.

@@markblaauw4961 yeah… I know! The musical proficiency I knew was gonna be a must, as it certainly was… but what truly blew me away was the level of energy and happiness they had, they were really excited and into it the whole way, enjoying very very much, that is something to admire after all these years and performances right? Mikael talked about doing a new record after this Latin America tour, and all of them cheered to that with big smiles on their faces… I mean… just good things lol let’s keep hoping it actually happens :)

Thank you so much for reacting to Sorceress live at Red Rocks. I do like the studio version but it's more gritty live. It's good to see you again. I really love your channel and your reactions 👍. Your costume change was seamless 👍🤣. Looking forward to your next reaction. Peace and love from Liverpool UK 👍✌️🤘☮️

One of the big things in the Red Rock set was Fredrick singing being way more prominent than previous tours and it was great.

Heir Apparent is amazing at Red Rocks, and you liked the studio version, so maybe your next live review? It is doubled up with another song you’ve not covered yet though, Cusp of Eternity, so maybe for the near future?

I was watching the “Closure” video and noticed the venue had Opeth on the marquee for an upcoming show. Speaking of CheVelle. I’m experiencing an emotional drought. 😉

Joakim Svalberg - keyboards/ organ... "keyboard guy" of Opeth 🎹🎹😁 Per Wiberg was the "keyboard guy" (from 2003) until 2011. Josh Silver (keyboards) of Type O Negative was a such a great presence when the band was around, live... 🔥🔥🤘🤘 Sven Karlsson (keyboards) of Soilwork is also another talent worth checking out 🤘🤘
