IT's the most affordable way to try it. The fact that collector arthouse has high quality copies of the cards, you can print a playset of the cores and philo stone too.

the trick for putting cards back in a box, put a couple cards on the side that has that flap then the rest but on an angle.

I just received my Kickstarter pledge and I don't see any way of seeing that it's from the Kickstarter on the boxes (1 booster box and the precons). No Alpha or Kickstarter symbol, nothing. Am I missing something?

There will be an @ kinda symbol on bottom of the card which means alpha

@@bravedbl4594 thank you! I knew there would be a sign on the cards but I'm not planning on opening my boxes yet. And I thought there would be a recognizable sign on the outside of the boxes in order to see that they are from the KS. I'm a bit disappointed rn tbh.

@@SIQmai ya they also say on the back of the packs they are alpha. I guess only way you will be able to tell is the Kickstarter boxes will say 39 packs on the box and beta will say 36 packs and they might say beta on them.

@@IneptCardCollector well I can speak to the gameplay because I've played it ALOT in testing and such. It's very fun but not at all similar to any tcg on the market - it plays like a boardgame and as such appeals to a much more casual audience (I think boardgamers and ttrpg fans would dig it). I definitely think there's an audience for Sorcery beyond the investor FOMO - but perhaps not the one that people expect.

@@RedZoneRogue It will never be my favorite game. That is flesh and blood. I say this with no prejudice, I just mean that $800 a box for the two boxes I bought means that I can sell them and just buy the betas and live with it

I treat this game the same way I treat all non fab games. I keep some precons for play but that's about it. Do kind of wish I bought an alpha box just so I could sell it😅

relax dude, this game is just for fun with friends and family, it's not trying to replace the competitive MtG scene the way FaB is. You seem like you're worried about something. There's room for games that are fun AND games that are hyper competitive. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to go brew some more decks around a cool card or mechanic that are not remotely competitive and not care at all because it's about having fun, not winning. Be well.
