I knew the dragonettes were dead when I attacked that turn to the city, I just wanted 3 damage that turn and to use his ability not on his own movement. With him using the ability on my dragonettes that turn, it free's my spider for +2 the next turn. So its 3+2 damage (i get the projectile either way) He had used 0 copy of blink that game and i could tell he had one in hand on the prev turn. (the dragon saved the spider the turn he cantripped the blink)

Can't be overstated. I try watching mtg events and they just kinda expect you to know all the cards. This, on the other hand, is very watchable

It's for a card being played called Chaos Twister where you pick up a minion and must blow said minion off your arm at a height of at least one foot off the table. Wherever that minion card lands it deals damage to the affected cards and itself. The ruler was to keep the act of the card's mechanics officially at one foot. Really fun/efficient card to play for damage/removal.

We use the ruler because it says it must be blown from one foot up. The rulers will be showing up at future events 😅

Can you summon phase assassin to the void? I’ve been playing like you have to summon him to a site like normal then he has to move to the void.

This game goes to show you, the problem with 99% of card games is that they’re not magic the gathering.

Man, magic has a lot of faults IMHO. But this game isn't necessarily meant to compete against Magic. It captures the feeling of vintage/ABU magic with it's art (lot of the same artists) and is generally more fun to play your own style. Highly suggest giving it a shot, coming from a guy who played MTG for about 30 years

Been playing Magic for 28 years. I only play Old School 93/94 and Pre-Modern. Sorcery is an amazing game with so much potential; it really is in a category all its own.

@@MrRayRockstar No - kind of like a mix of Magic: The Gathering and chess. you play on a board, "The Realm", and use your Avatar to build out land sites. It uses two decks, the Atlas (for lands), and the Spellbook (for minions/auras/magic etc). A lot of really cool interactions can happen with the spatial element on the game board. Highly recommend checking it out.
