Wow! This stuff hits people so young also - when she was talking it reminded me how athletic limber and pliable my body was until i got TMS at the age of 57 - it has nothing to do with age - but rather brain fear - brain perceiving danger.

Shes adorable!. Great video! I too have had the pain jumping from one area to another, when you challenge one area the body tries to sneak it elsewhere. Like whack a mole! But it is no longer a sign im broken, its a sign my body is in protective mode. I cant wait to get further in this journey, these videos are INVALUABLE.

My fast start playlist explains what is going on and what to do about it. Even though your symptoms may be "different" than others, they are the same. The cause of all these chronic symptoms is the brain perceiving danger. That means the solution is all the same too. Creating credible evidence of safety that outweighs the brains false perception of danger. DansFastStart.com - watch, study, understand and most importantly, implement. If you want more help, consider my group coaching. PainFreeYouGroup.com

Discovering this approach to healing on her own, just as I did many years ago, can be key. I've had very little success recommending TMS/PDP approach to others.

Thank you Soren for sharing your incredible TMS/PDP story and Dan for the great interview. It's so great you found that you're not a special kind of broken! When you realize that life has an innate propensity for healing, growth, alignment, and is a self organizing structure in itself you have the knowledge and clarity to "heal" from your pain and symptoms. You've adopted a great mindset as you are not buying into the fear and have empowered yourself to not allow fear to "drive the bus". Our mental health is very connected to our pain and symptoms. There are many negative emotional triggers caused by growing up in a dysfunctional family, by social issues, etc, and in your example, your ego feeling mediocre in sports, and the need to be a perfectionist can cause emotional distress in which the brain creates pain as a protection mechanism. Just the example of you being able to express your anger (per Gabor Maté) was the reason why your skin cleared up. This is clearly TMS/PDP. I like your approach in asking how TMS/PDP is a blessing as it has been benificial to me to see TMS in a positive light. It's great you studied dance and body practice. It's a great way to understand the mind-body connection as the way we dance is a microcosm to the way we move through life and how we see ourselves in the world and how we interact with it. The insight that you had about not wanting to take up space in the world, due to your narcissistic father, is a very healing insight. I'm so happy for you Soren! You have made such great progress. I wish you the best going forward! ❤️

Dan, I hope you reply to this. Why does my body itch? I’ve done so many tests and doctor’s said it’s anxiety. The symptom disappeared last year instantly when I left the country on holiday. Once I got back, I had a fibromyalgia flare up. That got better after I started doing somatic exercises and then I discovered your page. Today, the itching has flared up and I am so scared😭 I haven’t found a video on that particular topic so I was wondering, is it also TMS? I do have severe health anxiety and currently I am under a lot of stress. Funny thing is not even antihistamines help at times. There seems to be a new symptom always. I would really appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

The brain perceiving danger is what is causing it. Yes, this is TMS. The fact that it stopped instantly when going on holiday is PROOF your body is fine. Learn about TMS and what I refer to as perceived danger symptoms. Itchiness is one of them. My fast start will explain. DansFastStart.com The goal is teaching the brain safety. For a deeper dive, consider my course and group coaching program. PainFreeYouGroup.com You are in the right place.

@@PainFreeYou thank you so much, Dan. So kind of you to respond so quickly. The validation that this is actually TMS helps but the funny thing is, my brain forgets it in a couple of hours. And yes, joining your group coaching programme is exactly what I need to do. Once again, thank you.

I mainly came to TMS for my all over body itching with no rash. 14 yrs. 12 doctors. Slight ups and downs. Mostly I can live my life ignoring it. Every now and then it is bad and can’t sleep. There are times when I need to focus on my body and it can be distracting. I have come across people that have the itching. My itching started when a business that my husband and I started was not going to work to earn money. It needed to be delayed many years. We then had to dig ourselves out of financial debt. I had many other symptoms before and added since then. The stress of finding out about TMS added headaches, tail pain, hand pain… The headaches are totally gone and has taught me that I can do this! 🎉 I am told that itching can be a symptom of fibermyalgia… I was never diagnosed. But that helps me to determine I have a lot of TMS symptoms…

So what is the process if she is not at 100% pain free yet? Continue with the removing fear and eventually she will get to 100%? Just curious what's the difference between people who get 95% and 100% better?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 7 ай бұрын
It means her brain is still perceiving some danger and keeping a tiny bit of symptoms coming around from time to time. The process doesn't change. Recovery from fear is the goal. Symptoms will take care of themselves. What is 100% better? Never ever having a symptom ever again? That is not realistic. Our brain always reserves the right to use symptoms when it perceives danger and the need to "warn" us. Being unafraid of the symptoms IF they occur and knowing how to respond (as Soren is) means that she is a success. She is no longer ruled by fear. She knows what is going on and how to respond. That's a resounding success in my book.

How can we be sure that symptoms are caused by structural damage or just tms? Its 2.5 years am bedridden. I ve weekness numbness stiffness on tbe whole left side of my body head to toe. While i thought uts stroke but dr s say its not a stroke plus spine mri shows muld disc bulges in neck n back. I really ve no idea of my left side numbness weekness and also the left sided shoulder dysfunctional 😢😢

We can figure it out by taking the assessments. They are both here: IsThisTMS.com Symptoms on just one side of the body is almost always TMS. Take the pain test. Answer the questions in the FIT assessment. You will get your answer. Again, IsThisTMS.com
