I now know why I gave up on competition events. I run a 5.25inch tall tire(Pit Bull Rock Beast 2.2), then I would have to conform to Class 3. My track width in automotive includes the entire contact patch of the tire,but here SORRCA does it from the inside of the tires,effectively reducing my track width from 10.5 inches to 6 inches......I will stick to off road trailing and crawling. Friendly competitons happen on the trail, no rules just lots of great times.

That tire size would be class 3 and almost every event SORRCA or not. And the inside track width is just used to reference the other dimensions. Your track width is still the same it’s just measured in a different spot

When you say at full compression do you mean just set down on a table or the body pushed down so the shocks are fully compressed?
@TRDAdventures Жыл бұрын
Yes, on a table and push down until suspension stops.

Do you know if the electronics can be visible? I can't really find anything about it in the rules.
@TRDAdventures Жыл бұрын
They are supposed to be hidden, the only exception is servos and the motor
@garrettrujillo1476 Жыл бұрын
@@TRDAdventures Okay the servos can be visible from the front and the sides? So just the ESC and other wiring that needs to be hidden?

@TRD Adventures. What if my body is at my 2in mark for center rectangle but my slider isnt. I thought i saw a part on the rules that the slide must be the same length as the body for the while center rect.
@TRDAdventures Жыл бұрын
Correct to gain slider points it must also meet requirements of the center section. So it has to be as long as the center section and no taller than wheel rim. And attached to the chassis
@Toysojah671 Жыл бұрын
@@TRDAdventures ok so technically im legal just wont get slider points

@@Toysojah671 I’ll cover some of it with a scale point video. Only real thing is to gain scale points is shock hopes have to be covered.
