This heightphobia pisses me off. Actor Peter Dinklage left what was a steady (if not soul-sucking) job, swearing to himself that, come Hell or high water, he’d be a working actor. He lived up to that promise, and has worked, fairly steadily ever since. At 4’4”, he has been so successful as an actor that roles written for “average height/tall” people have gone to him because he’s just that damned talented. Would you call him “less of a man” for taking that risky leap and ending up a success? I’d hope not. Height doesn’t make a man. He was brave, believed in himself, and made his dreams happen. That’s pretty fucking manly to me.

@@QuillBleu82 I was making a joke. I seriously can't tell if you realized that or not before your tirade. Either way, nobody is really heightphobic, that would mean they're scared of shorter ppl. Almost no one is scared of short ppl. I made a joke, but the sad truth is that a lot of attractive women feel this way. They aren't scared of guys under 6ft, they just generally don't find them sexy. And bitches say stuff like this just to rub it in, bc somehow it's funny & you're a joke if they don't find you sexy. It's not really funny, but hot chicks who have the world given to them, sometimes turn out superficial and it's funny to them to immaculate dudes they consider beneath them. At 5'11" I have had to put up with this a little, getting picked less than taller friends. But I can't imagine how much it could suck to be like 5'5". I really feel for them bc I know how much just a little bit of that prejudice sucks. You just gotta try your best. Guys shouldn't have to put up with how the bitches act about it, but for every other decent girl, it's not like we could ask them to stop being attracted to tall guys. It's just nature, and we have to figure out ways to rise above it, which sadly involves a lot of acceptance from a lot of us. Dinklage isn't less of a man to us, but other males are not who shorter guys are trying to convince.
