I think most clients really like the conversations that go down during the tattoo process, but I've noticed the silent tattoos happen more so with the youngsters. I've wondered if Covid had anything to do with it because they lost a couple years of in person conversation and now it just is weird to them, Idk. I still try to get to know them and make them laugh at least to break the ice

I find it hard to talk to people at the beginning of a tattoo, cause most of the time they also talk with their body or i/they crack a joke and we laugh, and to do clean lines on a moving body is quite a pain. But when i switch to shading mode, let's go. I never work with headphones though! Happy holydays!!!
