That felt like a sequel to They Live. I am not complaining about that.

This film is surreal comedic outrageous work of art. The one line I walked away with was (paraphrasing) people will learn to live with problem if there’s not a plan to fix it.

I love this movie. Laketh Stanfeld is awesome and Tessa Thompson is excellent too. Armie Hammer plays a great villain. This is one of my favorite movies of the year.

Glad you guys had the exact same reaction I did to this. I really loved the style and atmosphere they built, the comedy was on point, and the twist was one hell of an acid trip. All around fantastic film.

This film was shot on acid, and edited on a software called heroin.

This movie is jarring, at times offputting, genuinely funny and a truly brilliant commentary on the black experience in the U.S. I loved it.

I saw this last night for the first time. Watching interviews with the director from 5 years ago add to the quality of this timeless piece. It's amazing in so many ways. Themes on top of themes.

Brad, are you familiar with Boots Riley’s rap group “The Coup?” They do songs in incorporating the “white voices” in the skits and there’s an album called Sorry to Bother You.

It took until August 31st (Yesterday) for this movie to be released close to me... and they only gave it 2 showtimes. I smoked a blunt roach and a joint in the parking lot... and even that did not prepare me. This isn't just weird as hell... it's one of the most creative and original films I've seen this year. BOOTS RILEY (The Coup / Streetsweepers Social Club) is now a Director I look forward to seeing make more movies. Finally something FRESH at the cinemas.

Just like with: The Disaster Artist and The Shape of Water; it didn’t come to my town. Sadness envelopes me like a blanket lmao

You know this is the kind of movie that probably has "Will It Fit" as an actual show people can watch considering the whole "beat the shit out of me" series. And yeah though it's not one of my favorite of the years I do like it. Honestly despite not being tired though the first half was still funny and had good characters it was kind of a more generic plot and set up of "put upon guy actually liking the job he was in and the power he was getting even if it was costing his friends issues and made him turn on them" that you'd see in say the Flintstones movie. But yeah that second half with well
