Incredibly clear and loving message, straight from the gospel. Praise Jesus!

I cannot tell you, as an ex-vangelical, how freeing it was to read the Lutheran/biblical understanding of repentance. Even in the Calvinist confession, there was often the specter of suspicion raised about one's repentance ("Did you REALLY repent enough? Do you REALLY believe? Are you REALLY sorry?"). It drains you, because you're looking back on yourself instead of Christ.

Tried to hit like on your video, but it wouldn't let it happen. But your message is fantastic.

The modern culture is all about "me." The devil is sneaky. There's a fine line between self-care and self-absorption. May God continually turn our hearts towards Jesus.

Great video. Thanks for all the information and time you been given. I have a Concordia , TLSB, and small Catechism on way from Concordia Publishing House.. Listened to your book on Spotify. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks for everything. I'm coming out of the Calvinist mindset myself.

I just found this KZbin channel and praise God I did you break things down to understandable language. My background might help you see why this is so valuable to me I was raised mormon I spent 55 years and was all in temple ordinances and everything. How I came to Christianity is a long story but now I'm in the process of trying to untangle my brain from the lds legalistic teaching so I watch a lot of Christian KZbin but most assume that their watchers understand the jargon and definitions of the words and phrases so thank you again for rephrasing things so I could understand

That’s awesome to hear! Praise God for showing you the light. What was the initial push that got you to leave the LDS mentality

Kind of a long story but we moved and the new branch we moved into was doing things I didn't think were right. So I started looking online for an address in Salt Lake to write a letter to but I found John Dalin and the CES letter and then Sandra Turner. Once I learned of Joseph Smiths' true history and nature. Well my shelf crashed and I was done. In amongst all that I read the Bible cover to cover for the first time. Lol and that's the short version 😊

Hello friend. You might want to check out the devotionals/course from a group called "Be Ye Perfect". It's an organization meant for those who grew up LDS and is rooted in the same confessional Christianity as Flame in the video here.
