21:34 if you go back to the letter in Blitzø’s hand, it says “Fizz’s eyes only” with a heart. And the explosion is what lead him to have that giant scar around his right eye. Unrequited love, and a scar that serves as a painful reminder of that day, every time he looks in the mirror. Previous episodes have also shown in Blitzø and Loona’s apartment, nearly every picture with his face in it is scratched out. It’s like him trying to erase any image of himself, ESPECIALLY ones that contain his scar from that day.

Barbie Wire (Blitz's twin sister) was in the camping episode, so we have seen other family members than just his father. I'd assume Blitz and Barbie lost their mother in the fire and Barbie blames Blitz for it, which is why she hates him.

32:47 Striker’s an interesting foil to Blitzø. He’s basically the version of Blitzø that’s been completely convinced that the upper class don’t have hearts. If Blitzø had another altercation with Stolas, or another event where he felt used by him, he’d only be a stone’s throw away from becoming Striker. Season 1 Episode 5 at the Harvest Moon Festival, also depicted Striker with these hypnotic yellow eyes, and his whole Rattle Snake motif. He’s like a serpent, tempting Blitzø to share his ideology, to give in to his insecurities about their place in hell’s social class. But the fact that Blitzø has shown time and time again, that he’s unwillingly to share that sentiment, it made him begin to crack in this episode. He started to get desperate trying to kill Fizzaroli in the scrapyard, a sign that he’s all but lost what little hold he had on Blitzø.

A reminder that the white patches and marks on Imps are old quickly healed scars, and now we know that the right side of Blitzø’s face was damaged by the explosion. This to me indicates Fizz’s entire body and face were messed up or he’s wearing white paint to cover up any small leftover red parts to hide his scars.

It's not paint all the white on fizz is scar tissue. he got blasted in the face with fireworks the only reason why his nose was salvaged is because he was wearing the clown nose and it protected it. It's also shown that fizz has robotic arms legs and part of his torso. Only his face was able to be salvaged to a certian extent.

Honestly, LOVED the start of some healing with Blitz, but Stolis has me worried. It is clear he feels like Blitz doesn't care about him to the point where (my theory) he is getting that crystal to give to Blitz to sever their contract and go their separate ways. Stolis in a sense is fed up, and with Blitz not even visiting him in the hospital, might have been the final straw...

I mean, Stolas thinks that Blitzø doesn't love or care abt him so like, I think he want s to give it to him in a way like "here, you can legally go without having to have anyrhing to do with me" bc he thinks that it's what blitzø wants, which, in the end comes to the same conclusion but that's my theory of why (and bc it'd hurt him too much if he kept seeing blitzø knowing that the feelings aren't the same on both sides, or at least thinks)

Asmodeus said Stolis wanted to give it to Blitz as a gift, so he could be doing it to show Blitz that he really does care and love him and that they don't need the contract to keep having a physical relationship because he wants a real romantic one.

I think it is more of a Stolas knows that Blitz views the book as a transaction. He’s trying to take away Blitz’s need for the book so they can actually be on equal ground with each other. My thought is, how can Stolas be fed up with Blitz when they’re not even in an official relationship? Stolas doesn’t want to hold anything over Blitz so he is removing himself as a necessity to Blitz’s business. It will be in Blitz’s court for an approach and if he does that’s definitely a healthier start than what they have right now.

Regarding the whole TV contracting discussion, you mustn't forget that Viv already has made a contract for Hazbin Hotel with Netflix and now also knows the downsides that come with it in terms of release schedule, production cycle, marketing and hierarchical decisions out of her control, which at least seems like a very good reason why she wouldn't want to sell off Helluva Boss as well.

Low key realization: the deadly sins are...decent people. We dont know much about much of them, but judging by Beezebub and Asmodeus, theyre relatively chill people. Theyre not assholes for the sake of being assholes. They are trying to keep up appearances and keep those they care about safe. Amodeus only kicked out moxie and millie because a) it was ovious that they know Blitzo, which ozzy has shown to be protective of Fizz over that regard and b) they technically where breaking the rules of the club. It wasnt a facility for love,it was a lust-run nightclub. Even queen Bee was pretty chill. Her only reason for getting upset at Loona was because Loona was sassing her after being told to check on her dad,who was creating a scene at a party

I freaking love this episode! So many hidden details I had to pause so much lol. I agree each episode feels like its getting better and better in graphics. Several fun things to point out. Despite Ozzie being the embodiment of Lust, he is all about consent. We finally got more background story for Fizz and Blitz, as well as evidence someone tried to not let the two get back together, seeing as both were lied to. I am pretty sure Blitz lost his Mom in the fire. They connected so many details in this episode. It felt almost finale-ish. Also Ozzie shows so much care and attention to Fizz, such a good partner. Blitz finally was vulnerable enough to try to heal his relationship with Fizz! I think the "make-out" joke at the end was Blitz in his self-sabotaging way ruining a moment, but I think Fizz saw thru it. After Barbie rejected Blitz I am actually really happy something worked out. I would love to see Loona and Octavia again next episode. But I am grateful for this episode. Also forgot to add, its so cool that not only we saw a pet in a wheelchair, but also Fizz not only is a disabled Imp with prosthetics, he doesn't look upset about being so, he doesn't believe he is broken but his life is going well. Add too it we saw his prosthetics break down, which is not common to see. Very inclusionary. I think its expected 2 more episodes for the season so I cant wait to see the next 2 episodes!

Stolas is a class lower than Asmodeus. Since Asmodeus is the embodiment of the sin Lust. So hes one of the 7 deadly sins while stolas is just goetia royalty

Just barely lower though. The princes are still very high-ranked if Vivziepop indeed sticks with the original Ars Goetia ranking (and it looks like that's the case). Both Ozzie and Stolas are Goetia royals. They have their own sigil to prove it. Stolas is 36th on the tier of the Ars Goetia demons. Asmodeus aka Asmoday takes the 32th spot in that list. They're both part of the 72 elites of hell with legions under their command. The lower the number the higher the rank in the pecking order. This episode confirmed Ozzie is the least powerful of the sins so number 32 kinda adds up. He's still an Goetia king (if we go by the book) and the sin of the whole Lust ring though, hence why Stolas addresses him as 'Sire'. So in that regards, yes he ranks above Stolas but not by much. They're both kinda dangling in the middle.

I think since he's the one of embodiments of a 7 deadly sin, he is ranked way higher than stolas. For your convience they're even listed on wiki, including their rank. Bee is actually ranked as the most powerful deadly sin. She's at the top. ALL royals are much more powerful than the common folk of hell though. Hellhounds, imps, succubi and sinners don't hold a candle to what they're capable of. That's a fact. So I don't really understand your comparison with hellhounds. In the demonology Asmodeus is a Goetia KING as well as a deadly Sin. He's also a rooster, a bird demon. So that further hints at his affiliation to the Goetia 'family' along with being all familiar and casual with Stolas. Heck, for all we know they might even be related. Not all of them are avians but it seems a handful of the demons in that little aristocrat club are. I feel that you're understimating Stolas a little. He may be ranked lower than Asmodeus but he's still one of king Paimon's son. In the end they're all big fish with money and power but there's always bigger fish.

There’s a hierarchy in Helluva Boss that can be a little confusing, especially between Lords and the Sins. 1. Lucifer - King of Hell 2. Charlie and Lilith - Princess and Queen of Hell, respectively 3. Seven Deadly Sins - Asmodeus/Ozzie, Beelzebub/Queen Bee, etc… 4. Ars Goetia Family (Stolas, Octavia) 5. Overlords - Valentino, Alastor 6. Sinners - Vaggie, Angel Dust 7. The Hellborn - Verosika 8. Imps and Hellhounds - Blitzø, Luna, Moxxie, Millie So Asmodeus ranks above Stolas but the two seem to be on relatively decent terms (which lets be honest, the bar for that is low when it comes to Helluva Boss)

I’m really starting to wonder if Fizzarolli’s cybernetic arms and legs are a deliberate reference to Doom. I mean really think about it... a demon with cybernetic implants. What does that remind you of? What is the first video game that really comes to mind in such a scenario? By that point, sooner or later, one can’t help but inevitably think of the Doom first person shooter franchise whenever you see something like that in pop-culture nowadays because it’s pretty much the definitive video game series that really iconically popularized the concept in fiction of depicting demons with cybernetic enhancements.

Unfortunately, i think America right now is too homo/transphobic, and prudish for this to be released on serialised television. Producers will only buy a show if it's guaranteed to make them money in most cases. Whilst there's a hardcore fanbase, the show could get picked up and then cancelled shortly after.

Since Ozzie is now allowed to give Stolas one of his crystals (something succubi & incubi use to go to Earth freely which we have seen used in the previous episode) to give to Blitz, this means that Stolas is thinking of ending their "transactional f**king", as Blitz put it, so Blitz can just go to Earth whenever he wants without needing to ever go see Stolas for that grimoire because remember in episode 1, Stolas made a deal to Blitz that if he wants to use his grimoire to do his murder work, he should meet up with him every month to bang. Now, Stolas is just letting him go by giving him freedom.

I just realised… Fizz said “my horns were always bigger than yours, weren’t they”. “Weren’t they” as in past-tense. His horns were destroyed because of Blitzø, which is why he got so upset when he mentioned it. He wasn’t upset because Fizz’s horns were bigger, he was upset because Fizz was referencing the fire incident. This show is packed with small character-development points. Quality.

Vivziepop doesn't wants to give Helluva Boss' series to anyone because she wants to have full control over it, which I think is for the best. She also tweeted that the series will last only 4 seasons. It's a little sad but let's enjoy it while we can. Hazbin will be available on Amazon Prime, but until January 2024. I'm excited.
