And I have to say, Fizz and Ozzie are just adorable together. Almost as much as Moxie and Millie. This was definitely the best episode so far.

the note from Blitzø was a love letter, probably a confession. For those who are concerned, Blitzø and Fizz are NOT blood related. Buckzo even goes so far as to give Fizz a card in this episode that says "wish you were my son"; Blitzø's only known living relative now is Barbie Wire.

Moxxies dad was also tricked into believing that Chaz of all people was rich just because he wore a fancy suit. On top of that he also showed his face to Asmodeus so even if Asmodeus signed the contract there is nothing stopping him from just hunting down and killing Crimson. Non of the contracts seemed to say any thing about not killing him either. So this was a terrible plan. Moxxie really is much smarter than his dad.

Crimson makes the point that they targeted Asmodeus because as sin if Lust he's not as big a threat as say Wrath or Pride etc. They knew Asmodeus would bow down and take it with fizz on the line I think Crimson assumed that Asmodeus would not do anything or wasn't as big a threat as other Sins and royalty would be.

This was a terrible plan. It is especially bad if he singed the initial contract which gave crimson permission to kill Fiz. Since if Crimson understands that Asmodeus cares about Fiz he should understand that he would seek revenge if Fiz actually died. Its basically like what happened in Russia between the head of Wagner and Putin. Did he really think he could get away without any consequences? If he did then he is an idiot.

Another little detail that I realized, that a lot of people missed: Asmodius just played the message from Fizz with Stolas in the room, and before it comes up, he gives a cocky little smile. I think Asmodius was going to reveal to Stolas that he loved Fizz at that point, knowing Stolas was in a similar boat. After all, assuming he hadn't been kidnapped, a voice message from Fizz probably would've been lovey-dovey; he would think it was for Ozzy's eyes only. So by showing Stolas the video, he could potentially "accidentally" let him know about his love for Fizz, to gauge his reaction and, depending on how it went, either lie about it or let Stolas know affection for imps isn't something he actually hates. However, his plans got sidetracked by the, you know... kidnapping. Also, during the fire from Blitz's side of things, you can see him mouth the word "Mom..." when he looks at the tent nearby that bursts into flames. So yeah, he lost his mom and didn't help Fizz because he ran off immediately to try and help her.

For Fizz it's actually a LOT of clown makeup that we usually see him with. He does have burn scars but they're a grey-ish color instead of pure white, which is shown in the Mammon episode at the start when Fizz is looking for his foundation. The grey patch with the black scar-like bit is his real skin, rest of the white is foundation.

The point of Stolas getting Blitz another way to the surface is to find out how Blitz feels. To get rid of the transactional part of the relationship so Stolas can show he just wants to be with him, not own him.

Barbie didn't want to talk, but Fizz did and it even led to someone hugging HIM first. I'm really not sure If we have ever seen someone hug Blitzo instead of him forcing a hug on others.... So Fizz & Ozzy are a positive example for both Stolas/Blitzo, and people they can go to for advice or venting. I have a feeling the two will talk/fight and then have tough love talks with Ozzy/Fizz in some way and come back together. They're such an obvious foil, they HAVE to come into play for the Full Moon episode or the one after just to help smooth out Blitzo's & Stolas' terrible communication skills.

12:00 imps cannot fly, those were Succubi and Incubi (native to the lust ring) that can fly 15:55 Crimson called Asmodeus the least the threatening of the sins, the sins being the kings of each of the 7 rings of hell (those being Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan and Belphegor). Stolas is not a sin but is still royalty. 29:55 Season two has actually been confirmed to have 12 episodes, meaning this one was only the half way point

Striker clearly has some major anti-royal issues going on. He'll take any job that allows him to hurt or kill them or theirs, and it seems like this episode was his breaking point when it comes to the folks at I.M.P. screwing him over every time he gets close. Also, Fizz is adorable. Fizz and Ozzy's relationship is super cute, and I hope to see more of them as the story progresses.

It's the fourth time I've watched this episode and I only now noticed a detail in Fizz's design. During the explosion, the impact reached Blitz's eye, making that part of the face turn white. The reason why Fizz has a white face but a red nose is because the explosion happened right in front of him and, in that moment, he was wearing a clown red nose. Such a great little detail

I think it's just Crimson (Moxie's dad's name) telling on himself and showing his bias; Bee is gluttony and is basically just a young 20 something party girl who's openly dating a hellhound, who are considered far lower than Imps, while Ozzie rules definitely the most well looking and well run rings of Hell we've seen so far (Pride is literally just a bunch of slums shoved together that's collapsing to the point heaven is stepping in with annual exterminations, Greed isn't that much better than Pride with only their crime being more organized and even then rival mafia fight wars to rob the same already robbed clean banks, Wrath is at least has its ranching and agriculture but is barren wasteland besides, Gluttony we've only seen a single mansion of so no real opinion, while the lust ring is treated as the place to be with not just the hight of the night life and social clubs but with tons of profitable industries, close ties and agreements with Greed and the others, and so far one of the only legal ways for lower born to travel to the mortal realm). The only real difference between Ozzie and Bee's situation (besides Tex being a Hellhound, which is again lower) is that Fizz and Ozzie are two guys, which we know Crimson dislikes to the point of only tolerating Chaz and the whole forced marriage for the money.

Man this episode explains so much about Blitz’s past. Why his sister wants nothing to do with him, why Fizz use to hate Blitz and how he became mostly robotic, and how Blitz got all of his scars. Didn’t really expect to see Striker and Crimson again so soon, the latter of which I don’t think died but rather will have a personal vendetta with I.M.P. more than ever now after this. I’m so happy Blitz and Fizz patched things up with each other! Not sure if I’d call them friends again right now but it’s definitely a start.

I feel like Crimson calling Asmodeus the weakest king in Hell is probably his homophobia talking. I mean, I'm pretty sure that Ozzie's probably bi or pan, but he's in a homosexual relationship with Fizz, and Crimson doesn't understand the difference anyway. He called it a "sissy lifestyle", so he's probably underestimating him based on that. I was actually shocked that he'd consider Ozzie, and not Beelzebub, who is a girl, the weakest, but then, he might not even count her as an authority.

I don't know that Blitzø getting an alternate way to get to Earth would hurt his relationship further: one of his hangups is the power disparity and how he depends on Stolas for his job; he is on some level aware that he cannot afford to alienate Stolas completely, or his entire business model would collapse. Stolas giving him the option to cut him off would in part address this imbalance. Sure, Blitzø would probably do an initial bad job at communicating his gratitude, because it's him, but I think that long-term it would be a positive, moving away from their initial "I *lent* you the book you need to do your job, so once a month you return my book and bang me" transaction from S01E01.

I think the concern is that Blitzø might misinterpret the gesture. While we understand Stolas is doing this because he doesnt want Blitzø to feel he has to keep Stolas happy to keep his job (aka Grimoire access), it possible Blitzø could see it as Stolas being bored of him and giving him the crystal as a consolation prize so Blitzø has no excuse to use the Grimoire (since mortal world access is all Blitzø uses it for).

I don't think Blitzo having another way to Earth will push them further apart. A big part of why they're not closer is because Blitzo thinks it's all business. If he makes it so Blitzo isn't reliant on him but he's still making an effort it makes it clearer Stolas wants him for who he is.

it had already been a widely accepted theory that Blitz most likely got his scars from some type of "incident" that involved Fizz. but this really cleared up so many things that we've already guessed or presumed! one thing is definitely clearer and way more understanding: Blitz' self-hatred. just imagine: it was hinted that he was going to confess his feelings to Fizz that day. but what happened instead was that he accidentally caused a horrible incident that grievously harmed Fizz (on his birthday!) and possibly killed his mum (which is why Barbie has such hatred for him). and he also got horribly scarred, which in turn is just a constant reminder of what he did! so every time he looks in a mirror (or pictures of himself) he's reminded of what he caused, which just fuels the horrible self-image he already had as a kid.

This episode broke me. When i seen the picture of blitz, his mom and barbie i legit grabbed my mouth in shock and sadness like what! And the fact that they showed not just how badly the fire damaged fizz to the point he has no horns. Imps and Hellhounds are at the bottom, then there's Hellborns, Sinners, Overlords, etc. Ergo, Striker is not just anti-royalty, he's also an imp supremacist. (He actually used pretty supremacist coded language during his "pitch" for Blitzø back in the Harvest Moon episode.)

Blitzø and Barbie Wire are twins while the series Helluva Boss never said that they had another sibling, meaning Fizzarolli and Blitzø are just friends. The card in Blitzø's hand that said Fizz's eyes only was most likely a love letter because of the heart that sealed it and the flower.

I have an alternate take why the Asmodean Crystal gift might not be such a bad idea. Blitzo's hang up here is that he feels Stolas doesn't care. He is in a sort of denial that someone could actually love him at all, so he sees every form of affection from Stolas as a way to just get him in the mood to be a living toy. Blitzo also feels like Stolas is using the Grimiore as a leash to keep him in this "relationship". The episode with Ozzie's Club was telling as Stolas looked, embarrassed to be seen with Blitzo, when we knew that he was embarrassed to have his laundry aired out in public. Blitzo took that much harder than we really thought. With all that, the ability to go to and from Hell, unchained from Stolas might actually help their relationship. It breaks the "chain" Blitzo thinks Stolas has on him, shows that Stolas actually gives a crap and gives Stolas an opportunity to actually speak and be heard, unfiltered from the blinders that Blitzo has put on to make sure he keeps pushing people away.

There were so many good stuff in this episode, it's insane ! First, Fizz and Ozzie might be the most healthy relationship of this show. Ozzie is very supportive of Fizz, voicing his concerns but respecting his decisions, even sayong love, in any kind of form, should be consented and not forced. A great message from the Sin of Lust of all people. What's heartbreaking is how open Ozzie was after almost losing him while Blitz wasn't able to be honest with his feelings after almost losing Stolas. Second would be Blitz and Fizz relationship. I love how frightened Fizz is because he doesn't deal with that kind of things on a daily basis like Blitz. It's nice to see how normal people handle what we grew acustomed to. And Blitz is so cute being so protective of Fizz the whole time ! They know each other too well even after 15 years, it was heartwarming seeing them make peace. The way I see it, especially with their dance, Blitz comment at the end, their look when they were in the cage and Stricker intervene, the theme at Ozzie's about Blitz ruining his relationship and his little hallucination trip back in the human world... I feel like they loved each other at some point, more than friends and that makes it worse about what happened to both of them. Seeing Blitz genuinely happy for Fizz new life and how, in return, Fizz is trying to help him with Stolas problem... I hope we'll see them together again ! Last would be Stolas, because everytime Stolas is in an episode (almost), it's a great one. Not a major role, I have to say I'm disapointed that he didn't know Blitz was captured as well. But I guess no one stands a chance with him and Ozzie mad x) Can't make the episode end too quickly ^^ I love that he's trying to free Blitz from their contract, to see if he really cares about him or if it's just business stuff. They both deserve to be happy with one another if they could just talk... Also, he actually helped Ozzie because he was worried he would be tricked and I love how happy he was to see him reunited with Fizz, not even the slighest hint of jealousy because he wants to have this with Blitz... What a good boy ! I love Stolas. Also, if I'm correct, it's been a week since Striker attacked him. Kinda disapointed, I would have loved if it would have lasted longer. He almost got killed ! Anyway, if anything, I enjoy way more that kind of episode were the crew is taking the story serioulsy, unlike episode 5. I don't care about the whole sex thing when it's played as a joke and not to developed the characters, it even make me uncomfortable at time. I just feel like the show could be so much more... Definitely one of the best episode of Helluva Boss, along with episode 2 and 7 of season 1, episode 1 of season 2.

Really love this episode glad we got an answer to Blitz's past that has been teased since S1E2, most people suspected exactly what happened since S1E7 but glad to have it confirmed. This episode had a lot a background demons, well Fizz was being pulled along and during the fight you could even see the mom who's baby got punted by Loona in the pilot lol. It also had a lot of new species, I saw multiple dinosaurs like a terradactyl and a triceratops *lady* plus a crocodile and snake, this episode most importantly has confirmed the existence of the hybrids. Since Striker it was suspected that Imps looked different depending on where they were born, however after seeing the bouncer at Ozzy's and the medical clerk Blitz beats up to find his sister both looked like imp and succubus combined the hybrids were suspected of more. The guy who dies when Fizz leaves the car has Imp horns despite being a shark making it the most obvious proof of the hybrids, you see this several more times like the big guy who holds Fizz when he throws the banana has a horn that looks like an Imp's with the stripes. Striker is likely either part snake or shark, the sounds he makes may not be relevant because many characters have animal sounds like Blitz and horses and sharks don't make noises so he still needed something. BTW Crimson says he's the weakest of the Sins not just in general. Whether he means actual power level or because he has a weakness I'm not sure, it is odd if it has to do with a weakness because we know Lucifer has his daughter Charlie and Beelzebub has Vortex so it's difficult to determine. Pride / Lucifer, a angel, king of hell, and keeps the Sinners in the pride ring. Wrath / Satan, demons use his name in place of God "oh my -God- Satan". Gluttony / Beelzebub, with her ability to change size however big or small she desires and to turn into a gigantic monster she seems to be stronger than Asmodius, depending on if the public correction from Bel to Bee was true she owns the hellhound adoption place where Loona was. (The 3 above are part of the unholy trinity in Biblical lore which may mean they're the strongest). Greed / Mammon, he has been referenced dozens of times including by being depicted on the money and in Loo loo land, and his name is in the title of the next episode shows he will likely be important. Lust / Asmodius, seems to really like his big demon form over his standard one which we only saw for a few moments in S1E7, he's also may be a king in the Royal hiyarchy which makes sence why he recognized Stolas in S1E7 despite him being just one of many princes. Envy / Leviathan, Deep water stuff? Sloth / Belfagore, called a she by Bee just like Moxxie called Bee a she at Ozzy's, the demons from this ring resemble Bathament more who is a different demon with the candle heads, the signature on Loona's adoption paper looked like Bel but was said to be a mistake and was ment to be Bee however someone said that on the Patreon discord it was Bel so we'll see. The fact that Asmodius is called the weakest despite not being the only one with a weakness and he is in the middle of the list makes it confusing on why Crimson said it.

My hope kind of is that two things happen: Maybe Stolas and Fizz can have another heart to heart about Demon Lord Lovers (or maybe after all this is over, Blitz thinks back to some of the things Fizz said about no one committing to a ruse that hard) and that, combined with Stolas pretty much setting him free gives him a hint that maybe he misjudged Stolas. Of course, it is just as possible that he views Stolas giving him the Crystal as a means of getting rid of him because he doesn't care for him anymore, so...

Btw those are succubi, not imps :) They’re pretty similar to imps tho, just slightly above in the class rank. They’re normally that hot pink color. All the servants that Ozzie has are some. They’re known for being sexual, in demonology, and in canon, they go up to earth to seduce humans. Succubi are what Verosika and her gang are! Verosika and them normally go up to earth during spring break to seduce them with her singing, that’s why the humans there in ep 3 knew her as a celebrity already. Just a btw! What's important is that the white spots on imp's faces are healed scars. Blitzo got his in the fire just like Fizarolli. But Fizarolli's whole face is scared except his nose because he was wearing the red clown nose and it protected his nose from the explosion. Cool little detail.

The flying demons at Ozzie's factory are succubi, and it is known that they are allowed to traverse between hell and the mortal realm to do their job, by using Asmodean crystals (S2 ep1 in Stolas' book). That's how Blitz got to the human world in the camping episode, he stole the crystal of an incubus in the alleyway.

It's so sad. No matter how much Blitz tries to fix his mistakes, even fixed things will have side effect that will hurt him again. Here he gained back connection with Fizz but he will pay for it with his connection to Stolas. I fear for Stolas now. He will most likely give Blitz this crystal and cut contact with him. Striker is now more mad at Blitz than ever before. Striker might ignore Stella's wishes to keep Stolas alive and try to kill him anyway to get back at Blitz. I also remember theory about IMP squad making enemies in like all rings of hell to point of having no place to run nor hide in human world because they have enemies there too. Well after this episode it's also possible that IMP might actually have some help like in Ozzie and Fizz during potential danger.

I don't think that Stolas giving Blitz an alternate way to get to the mortal world will be a bad thing. Basically Blitz sees their current relationship as a transaction, i.e. "you do what I want, I'll let you use my Grimoire to access the mortal realm", but with his own way to get there, Stolas could actually get Blitz to realise he isn't using the Grimoire to keep him "obedient", but was literally doing it because Stolas wanted to help him, because Stolas likes him.

Like the detail of new scars being darker than the imps' skin and later its white which means almost all of Fizz's face is scarred but the clown nose a co-worker put on teen-Fizz's nose protected it which is why its still red.
