It’s what makes them so loveable and relatable, not just SpongeBob but Squidward, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, even Plankton. The characters have a surprising amount of depth for a supposed kids show from the late 90’s/early 00’s

@@HunterHarris I struggle with Squidward because of his arrogance, condescending attitude to talk down at people while thinking he's superior and above everyone. Patrick is an awful friend to SpongeBob, because he had an embarrassing snapshot of SpongeBob at Christmas something SpongeBob was ashamed of and Patrick had blackmail over him and secretly laughing at him behind is back. Also Patrick's negative influence on SpongeBob for bad behavior in the Hooky episode. Mr. Krabs is has a sinful greedy and selfish spirit that I wouldn't want to be around. The fact that Mr. Krabs is in love with money is a BIG red flag. The only character who's a real friend to SpongeBob is Sandy. She stays true throughout.

Whenever this show resorts to sadness and it isn’t for a comedic moment it always messes me up on the inside. ‘Dumped’ and ‘Have You Seen This Snail’ come to mind for times where the reality of what’s going on actually brings a tear to my eye, and even makes me cry depending on the day.

It's to my understanding if he did number one there would've already been a pair of underwear inside of the square britches he offered to SpongeBob at his welcome home party. 2: He likely grabbed a pair of underwear from SpongeBob's dresser when he was obtaining clothes thinking "SpongeBob won't last in the wild, he'll come home and need clothes." It's even a probability that it was most important to him SpongeBob at least put on his iconic square britches to show some decency. Even if he was commando, he'd not be naked anymore.

I honestly still love seeing the part where SpongeBob is naked in front of Squidward. As the latter was seen holding up SpongeBob's clothes. He raised them higher to show them to SpongeBob and then asks him to put his clothes back on. SpongeBob knew that Squidward wanted him to put his clothes back on.

The movie released in Nov 2004, which was when Season 3 was airing. The creator himself however, stated that the movie is the True Ending of Sponegbob, and any episodes that released after it where events that happened before it.

So, I would say that the FIRST “SpongeBob SquarePants movie” (the original) is the “ending” of the show. It wraps everything up fairly well, as an end of the original series run. They’re still making episodes, but I’d treat it as the ending after season 4 or 5.

Owning a house wasn't always a problem. I know and have heard of people who got their two story house and land in the 80's and they pay $600 a month currently on it. The issue is housing is insane in the 2000's and 5-10x the price because of investors. Expensive housing is only a Gen Y and Gen Z dilemma. Wasn't always that way.

FUN always gets me choked up man. It's such a hilarious episode, but the writing is just so incredibly effective, and it builds Plankton's character. Even if he was pretending the whole time, it's just such a tragic look into why someone so mean acts the way they do. Just one of many examples why Spongebob will always be the best cartoon ever made.
