Fun fact: the episode I Was a Teenage Gary was the subject of a false case of lost media that was created because of the Mandela Effect. People remembered a scene of Squidward transforming into a snail after he was injected, and it was assumed that the scene in question was too scary so they cut it out from later airings. It wouldn't have been the only episode with scenes cut for various reasons, so it seems plausible (I am curious if you'll be seeing the cut or uncut versions of those later episodes). The search was finally debunked when someone found a recording of the original airing of the episode, with no missing scene to be found.

Fire under the water is actually possible Spongebob has a surprising amount of actual real life phenomenon bases for what most people would brush off as "cartoon logic" Like the "beach"? Higher concentration of salt in a specific area under the ocean can actually make it separate from the rest of the ocean, making "beaches" under the ocean The fire though... There are a few materials that provides oxygen to itself, and burning those under the water is the only way for you to make fire underwater It is presumed that maybe the materials in bikini bottom may have evolved to have this property which is why fire is so casually created (until someone acknowledges it, to which it promptly fizzes out) and evolution is an acceptable theory to the table since we have a sponge living in a pineapple and plenty of fishes living in cans

The creator is the only guy who can decide stuff like this and he said that stuff like that don't matter.
