The transformation of Gohan is called Beast Gohan. They explain it in the manga, and we even get to see Beast Gohan fight Ultrainstinct Goku. Gohan also trains Broly immediately following the events of the Super Hero movie in the manga. Unfortunately, manga has been on hiatus since the sad passing of Akira Toriyama.

And if anything that just makes it more vague as to what the hell it is as we get no actual insight into where it came from or how it works. And what you said in the second half of your comment is not a trait of Beast specifically. What you described can also be used to describe basically every other transformation in the series at this point, especially Saiyan forms lmao. That trait you described also applies to Super Saiyan 1-3, Super Saiyan Rage (Trunks' form), Legendary Super Saiyan, etc. That's not something unique to Beast at all lmao. What we learn in those chapters is that Gohan has a similar situation going on as Broly, in that the two of them use rage as their primary source of power and endless potential much more than any other character. But that's not really us being taught something about Beast specifically, that's moreso just describing what makes Gohan and Broly special in general. So that doesn't really help.

All of King Piccolo's minions are musical instruments, all of the Frieza Force are fruits, the Ginyu Force is all dairy products (Ginyu is Japanese for milk), Garlic Jr and his minions are all spices, and many more. So ive had this theory since the original old school broly movie. Every time gohan has a mighty jump in power its due to near uncontrollable anger. We saw him use it to break radditz, it helped him keep up with vageta for a small while, and of course it brought ss2. His ultimate form without any transformation was brought partially by magic but we saw how it was reawoken here by his pure fury. My working theory is gohan is part beserker sayan aka legendary ss like broly, only because hes only half sayan he can not achieve that full power, and this beast goha. was his mix human/sayan bloods interpretation of that legendary power.

Essentially, Namekians do grow old, but they are kinda like plants, which ig makes sense since they live off water, but for example, Grand Elder Guru was about 700 years old before dying. And he was the "non-fighter" type of namekian. We have another example like Kami or Demon King Piccolo which when they age they just start becoming thinner and taller, the opposite of the "non-fighter" namekians like Guru who become huge and large. *Spoilers* So to explain what the transformation is,the official name is, “Beast Gohan” and we still don’t know where it’s derived from but we know that it’s on par if not stronger then MUI goku and it was to the point where in the manga when Gohan transformed a second time into beast goku and vegeta noticed Gohans power level from beerus’s planet which is on the other side of the galaxy/universe so much so that goku was able to instant transmission to him and bring him to beeru’s planet to train, we then get a MUI goku vs Beast Gohan fight where beast pushes goku to physical block the punch himself in MUI which if you don’t know MUI is basically your body dodging on its own at speed where your mind won’t be able to process your dodging until after it happens, right now it’s debatable is Goku is the strongest in dragon ball, but at the time of the movies release piccolo and Gohan were the strongest two people in dragon ball

Dude… I remember seeing a teaser trailer or the actual trailer before it came out and when I saw the animation, I wasn’t too sure at first if I was gonna like it. After the movie came out and when I watched it, the more I liked it. I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed Superhero from start to finish. But I think what I liked the most about it was the fact that for ONCE, it didn’t focus on Goku and Vegeta. This movie gave the supporting main characters like Piccolo and Gohan more love and screentime. Pan also played a big role in this movie too. The musical score was another highlight for me. yeah I think the difference between the 3d animation in this and the 3d animation in other DB movies and such is that this entire movie is 3d so it's heavily focused on making that 3d look PERFECT and awesome. While in others the movies were 2D and 3D animation was thrown in during parts as more of a shortcut for certain scenes/animations

The forms are called Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan (as for why Piccolo skin becomes more bright when he powers up, it's because it's his version of Gohan Ultimate or also known as Unleash Potencial)

Piccolo is about 4 years older than Gohan who is in his 20s right now so even if he did age like humans he wouldn’t look old yet. Also while I do enjoy the Superhero movie and am glad to see Piccolo and Pan’s bond, I am irritated with the movie for erasing the close grandfather-granddaughter bond that Goku and Pan had by the End of Z and GT. Goku was the one who taught her how to fight and use ki and everything originally plus he gave her her own gi. She was a grandpa’s girl during the tournament in End of Z. I know GT isn’t canon but still their bond in End of Z, I loved. It showed how great of a grandpa Goku is.

As much as I loved seeing their minds being blown during rescuing Pan part of the movie and witnessing Beerus showing that he has a type, I think my favorite non-action part to the reaction was them talking about an Oreo podcast and teaching Erik how one can eat an Oreo and when Bulma was called out on using the Dragon Balls for her looks. Also, I must have missed something, because I don't remember why 18 and Gamma were having tug o war with Krillin. A little interested in that Oreo podcast if they were serious about that.
