Science educator here! Squid have both tentacles and arms! the tentacles are the long ones with the suckers at the end, arms are shorter and have suckers all the way down their length :) (which also means octopus have no tentacles, only arms). Also love that you call the backbone bit a "quill", in Canada we call it a "pen"

I was looking for this comment, so I didn't have to write it myself. Haha. I've had so many questions regarding the backbone from kids believing it was plastic lodged in the poor squid. Also the 8 arms will sometimes be referred to as 6 arms and 2 legs, as the 2 "last" arms are often used by the squid to move around (more like legs) and the first 6 to grab things (more like arms).

@@_maxgray There's no problem using a pot to cook rice, not sure if people are still riding on that meme or genuinely thinking that cooking rice with a pot is heresy. A rice cooker is a wonderful gadget to have since it simplifies everything regarding cooking rice but it is still a "single use" (yes I know you can make cakes and what not with it) gadget that takes up quite a bit of space. For someone that doesn't eat rice as often as others, having a pot might be "better" since you aren't always going to cook rice and if you are, then a few extra steps won't hurt if you're doing it properly. I'm curious though, how is their rice cooking technique consistently terrible? The steps make sense and I have been doing the same thing (high heat to boil, low heat, water evaporated, steam the rest of the way) for my daily staff meals since you can't fit upwards of 10 portions of rice in a conventional rice cooker.

@@Bryan_K_27435 I can't speak for others, but my objections have absolutely nothing to do with their using a pot (it's the classic method and works great if you know what you're doing) and everything to do with their terrible "washing" technique and inability to produce the correct texture for different rice types/dishes.
