My favourite part of the vlog was when you were picking through the boxes of cards for like 100 -300 yen I loved that, and I would watch another vlog even if you went to all the same places, much love buddy

Just found your channel this week with the Japan vlogs. Love the content, love the way you talk and hold yourself. I will def keep watching you're videos, like the card sorting stuff too and the stories you tell. Keep em coming and btw I would've never noticed the lazy eye mate 😊

Really enjoyed the vlogs bro! Watched all your vlogs and what I enjoyed was the footage of you in front of the cashier, interacting and dealing with the employee. It was quite an interesting process and I think that was the most awkward experience for you too while filming and talking to yourself haha. I also enjoy collecting LP cards for the value and I like your features of "card" card shops. Would be great if you highlight more of the shops that you visited that are reasonable and has a wide selection for us binder non psa collectors next time! Also would be great if you showcase the cards you got at the shops in Japan at the end of the vlog! Anyways, love your content and your long form videos, have a good one!

For sure, remember theres 4 or so more videos to come, so plenty, lots of the smaller/non popular shops did not allow filming, and the more popular ones with higher end items that are known as big stores are happy with the popularity, thats probably why you dont see the smaller shops as much. On the first day i planned on showing hte cards, but i was buying almost 300-400 cards per day, and after a day of walking ~~12 hours around japan the last thing i wanna do is more filming, so thats why i structured it this way. I have a whole video with everything i bought in japan coming after the vlogs are finished. If i do it again, i'll definitely do it that way.

When you asked about different stuff we'd like to see in the vlogs for next time, personally I really enjoyed the ones I've watched/listened to so far. But to give you some real "wish list" thingy I think it would be cool to see more rural card shops or places that are in really small towns. I'm not even sure how you'd find more obscure places like that or if they're even worth visiting but the culture surrounding pokemon in small towns in Japan is something I've always wondered about. Like in my town of 600 people I grew up in we had one game store and it was so different in comparison to shops I go to now. I still remember walking down the steps as a 8 or 9 year old and opening the door to see this grungy basement that smelled like a paper factory. It was so cool. So yeah, I just always thought there must be stores like that in Japan and I wonder what those stores are like. But honestly dude I feel like you're worrying about making stuff perfect when it's already good. Personally I don't enjoy super high production videos with fancy camera transitions and all that. I like your stuff because it's more grounded and chill. But when I'm watching your videos I'm always sorting cards or listing and I just like picking up little pieces of advice for my own business, so I'm a different audience than someone watching for pure entertainment. I think your content style and everything is great as it is.

i agree with you, i'd love to see more rural card shop videos too, and in places not in osaka/tokyo.. but the problem is cost of travel to those niche places and sometimes if you spend thousands to travel to japan and stay in hotels ect, and to go to random citys just to find out there is maybe one or two shops (and they dont allow filming) it can be a huge letdown. This trip was based around me buying cards, not really filming card stores.. even though i did do a lot of it, but it is a good thought to have

Great video as usual. I don't really have anything negative to say about your vlogs. They've all been great. I've never been to Japan, though I hope to in the next couple of years, so seeing the stores and everything was great. If/when you go back, would definitely like to see more and would definitely watch from beginning to end. These types of videos are great as well. I mean, tbh, the videos you upload are all great and I'm not just blowing smoke. You give a lot of good information in your videos and you're genuine. Also, I didn't know you had a lazy eye until you just pointed it out...and I've watched every single one of your videos.

G'day Steve, I'm up to vlog day 6 so far and I have your videos on in the background while I list stuff on my own ebay store :) It's nice having your voice imparting little nuggets of wisdom on in the background. Personally, I like your videos how they are, music isn't necessary and for me I actually like them without! I'd watch whatever you put out, so if you set up a camera to film a condition check, I'll happily put it on. Thanks for doing what you're doing

Hey Steve, feedback: what I love seeing in these videos is the volume of cards you look through while pointing out popular, novel, rare ones etc. I actually window shop here for cards I find interesting but haven't seen in person before; having the light hit some of the holos (like the Japanese Dark Dragonite from TRR) is something you don't see on an Ebay listing. Great way to find and see new cards, which I then buy from you haha.

I did mention live streaming sorting videos would be good. You could even do live selling on one of those platforms and o feel thag would go well for you to get through the played cards and save time on listing. I am not a fan of a lot of people on those platforms but i feel it would be really good for your business to get through the lower value impulse buy cards

I had no idea you had a lazy eye. I feel that a lot of people are definitely self-concious and may be more critical on themselves than they should be (definitely me). I love your videos and you definitely inspire me to try and get out of my comfort-zone and try to make some videos myself. I know this was 9 months ago and you've definitely gotten more comfortable, but no matter what, even if you do get some toxic people, please don't let it get to you and please make more videos (:

@@PokemonSteven completely understand I figured u didn’t know/care much for vanguard it’s pretty niche. Just found it funny you kept turning away from the vanguard display case at the last second. But totally understandable those card shops look packed with people and some of them so little room between the isles of the store to maneuver around. Thanks for the videos! Looking forward to the complete vlog video where u combined all the days into 1 video. Love watching these card shop vlogs while I also work on sorting/shipping cards.
