Sorting Recycling & Putting the Bins out (GoPro) (2)

What do all the tags on the bins say? And how comes your sorting everything do you not have single stream recycling?

Tags: White - saying about bagged recycling/ bags. Yellow - saying about what you can’t put in your bin/ if you have contaminated your bin. Green - (lichfield one) asking about assisted shopping/collection from 2020. Red - saying that you have mixed your recycling (paper & card in with glass, plastics & cans/tins. Orange - says new collection date. We do have a recycling stream for glass, plastics & cans/tins, But I sort it all into separate bins to make sure it’s all recycling correctly. Bins and what goes into them: Cans/tins - 240l Otto (green lid) & 360l ssi. Plastic bottles - 340l Otto with brown/dark purple lid. Plastic trays/plastics - 240l Otto Glass - 140l OP Soft plastic/bag type stuff (idk what they are classed as) - 340l craemer & 240l ssi pro wave Cardboard & paper - purple bin ssi pro wave or bag (but I have a purple bins now as I got one delivered yesterday (18th) and I am now using it for paper and card)

My stickerson the blue Sunderland city council and on the green on mine it says city of Sunderland and my brown is city of Sunderland garden waste collection

I'm just amazed at how clean your bins are. Our bins (communal) is absolutely filthy in comparison

Thanks mate and I collect bins and theses are mine but this recycling is mine my nans and my nans neighbours too that’s why there’s the other blue,black & green bin around the corner but I put them all in theses

@@monkeymandee5030 if it was to go into the green bin they would need to change where the tip the garden waste as at the moment they don’t have the machinery to process food waste with garden waste
