Mio getting over her fear of singing in a split-second decision because she saw Yui having trouble is one of my favorite moments of Season 1. And Azusa standing on her tip-toes to see better at the back of the auditorium fills my heart so much. Because it's such a universal feeling - not everyone is going to love the music you make, but sometimes it hits that one specific person in just the right way that it grabs and doesn't let go. It's a beautiful little moment.

I think its commented on at some point by - Mugi? Azusa asks why they sound so good live when they just goof off all the time- the answer is that they are all close friends who get on well and understand each other and their pace etc. I mean im sure each person learns their parts, but i mean they dont need to put that much practice in as a band to get their timing etc down.

People used to criticise K-On! for not having anything happen, but the first 7 episodes covering a full year of school is actually insanely quick pacing. All of MHA takes place in their first year at UA.
