I like how Cid acts the most honestly with Delta as compared to the other girls. With them, hes super cool and mysterious but with Delta, he acts casual and relaxed.

Thats a myth , he is very often honest around All the girls , you Saw him many times with Alpha and he is lazy and calm , after All is just game and these are his friends he had nothing to hide The diference is that the rest of the girls assume that this Cid persona is not real , they think that when he is out of charachter he his in charachter 😂 they think Shadow is real and Cid is fake , but is the other way

No, no, you misunderstand a little. Cid very genuinely cares about money; he just thinks he doesn't have any. Remember when he stole a single coin from the pile of gold when they first showed him how successful the business was? He sees them as the friends he made who know he's a hack and roleplay with him occasionally to humor him, and they each became hyper successful in their own ways by taking stuff he told them and either copying it or running with it, not realizing that they're doing it all for him. He's seriously jealous that they took his half-formed ideas and knowledge from his own world and made bank off of it, and he wants to collapse everything and take the money for himself, of course inviting them back in and making them rich as the underlings they already think they are because he doesn't see himself as the head of anything but their game of real life D&D. It's just that he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, so while he has lots of random knowledge, when he tells another hyper-intelligent person about his okay scheme, they take it one step forward and make an even better plan with it, just like his own organization did with the stuff he gave them.

This series is Overlord on crack. Cid is entirely carried by everyone else running to 100 on his ideas. This entire money arc was everyone around Cid backfilling his ideas that he didn't even finish having himself.
