no one cares about this but imma comment anyways. INITIAL THOUGHTS: (commenting before hearing the song) I think this is gonna be somthn chill and cool (but i accidentally heard one second in) so it seems joyful like the double life songs, heres hoping i didnt get spoiled just with that and that that was just intro cheerful music. I am expecting to hear places and bases of players to learn from the whole series more just like grymm's other songs - i havent really watched every pov of ep 1 so im kinda excited what knowledge i dont know yet that i'll learn from this song.... based of my order of hearing grymm songs, its kinda getting super dope with the recent collabs and stuff so im not gonna set the bar high for this one, my guess score rating is 4/10... what else, i oh yeah lookin forward for rapping or just fast paced lyrics... k time to hear it now, and try my best not to pause... FINAL THOUGHTS: (after hearing it once without pauses) The start ngL dissappointed me, i cant sugarcoat how awful and cringe the starting voice sounds like, tho to be fair it being a chorus and formulating it to end up being catchy and repetitive does help it out a bunch, then again the..,,... the voice just sounded like it was a 'try-hard tryna sound high pitch auto tuned and did it on purpose but hoped everyone likes it or whateva' vibes. On the bright side the early rhymes and lyrics got me hooked despite the voice but then it became a portrayal of desparation - trying to rhyme 24 with evermore? (i mean that was empires/witchcraft smp yall not sos), i feel like it was a need rather then a relevancy (having three rhymes of 'or'). Uhhhh but the rapping rap god grymm satisfies and brings everything as forgiveness, i forgot my initial criticisms until it got reminded to me again by 'the voice' of the chorus. The lyrics "i think i might need ur help, cuz im losing myself" that goes deep, it slaps, it went hard and a bit emotional, a hidden gem and i see it, that was witty and appreciated. I think this got my hopes up for a little reason and got justified a bit, so i think im gonna stick to my rating being 4/10, i think i was spot on, i think this was a good number to land this one on, there wasnt much of what i wanted or expected, but it definitely brought home what SOS means and what the smp is about which is of utmost importance and was done pretty well... Hope to comment for the next songggg....
