@@awezomehero not sure why (probably to cut costs and because it's not that important) but anime changed all fights as being judged by one referee. In the manga there's a team of them. The fight where Agito tells referee that he should've stopped the fight sooner was supposed to be judged by the guy who's said to "sometimes be too slow to call a fight" earlier as a foreshadowing. Seeing how they also judge other Kengan matches all of them are probably pretty damn wealthy though

In the first phase Ohma was landing the hits, but slowly Raian capitalized and got the upper hand, indicating he was stronger than Ohma in both of their base form In the second phase Ohma with Advance is slightly above base Raian, it seemed like a back and forth but Ohma was landing more hits. 3rd Phase Ohma with advance and Raian with Removal were on par with each other, but Raian eventually got the upper hand, implying that Raian with Removal > Ohma with Advance Last phase, with both in their base forms again, Ohma got the upper hand this time because the moment he started using inner tactics he was dominating in the fight, Raian may have landed some few hits but he was mostly getting his shit rocked in the entirety of the last phase.

Much like the man himself, depends on how Hatsumi is doing at the moment. Against Bando, he would have been finished if one of his "whips" hit him. Against Raian who's baseline is almost as strong. Add in Removal. Well It'd be a wash either way. Whatever happens would be very fast. Raian head deep into the ground or Hatsumi with his neck snapped. Anyone that isn't Julius, Takatsuki, or similar has a high chance of getting steamrolled if they don't have the means to put Raian down. Especially people of Hatsumi's build and durability. If this was Kiryu we were taking about, maybe it'd be different. Because The Palm is an equalizer that negates raw durability that isn't Adamantine Form or similar.

They're two separate techniques, Raigan uses release which doesn't kill him but draws out his latent abilities, ohma technique is like the 8 gates, for great power comes at a high strain to your body which can kill him, basically the move luffy does in one piece gear 2, but since luffy is rubber it does no harm to his body, ohma is speeding up his heart rate at a crazy speed to gain power

Well tbh, the advance system in general is very real. Very very real. People do it daily without even realizing. Fighters/Gym rats especially. Triggering your adrenaline glands to the point of berserk is all it is. And that’s the “inner rage” that takes over when you feel it. That blackout/sadistic anger feeling. It’s still a science, but that “inner demon” we all have is the primal nature that takes over the conscious when allowed. Thus delivering 200% of normal output because the body’s limits are ignored for that duration. Regardless of pain or drawback. After the initial rage/burst, that’s why the downward energy spiral begins. Because the body has to recooperate from overclocking. And yes, it does actually trade vitality. And that’s why people’s hearts go kapoot if they perform at that level continuously or daily. Actually really cool because it’s a real life concept.

Rian Kure does have a bit of Yujiro Hanma vibes, but more like Convicted Death Row Inmates mentality of brute strength. I do like that Kengan Omega Rain vs Alan Wu shown how ruthless/bloodthirsty Rain is when taking out enemy and going after Edward Wu with other Kure Clan members. Strangely, Rian and Omha have a unspoken friendship even though they deny it or never speak of it. Plus, I think Rian looked up to Erioh Kure and had the same mentality when they are young before Rian realize he can't defeat anyone with brute force and has to use techniques/Martial Arts of Kure Clan.
