Nice! 🙂 2:35 Wait until you fly from London Gatwick one day - you have to walk a winding path through duty free to the gate area... ;-)

You guys can get the EU261 compensation by downloading a template online and submitting it as a complaint to Ryanair directly, keep pushing if they reject it, usually you’ll get something on the 2nd or 3rd attempt, alternatively, you can contract a no win no fee legal company to apply on your behalf, it should be €250 each of you providing the airlines at fault and remember to claim for your dinners and drinks as that’s all included regardless whose to blame for the delay :)

I know you guys said it was 2 hours 59 minutes late - Ryanair are bad for stretching the truth. Also remember to take them to an ADR if they don’t pay out, I believe there’s is Aviation ADR :)

I for sure tried to get compensation through the Ryanair form and submitted documentation to a website that specializes in EU261. All was denied. Maybe try through Ryanair again? I have pictures and video of our landing time but their official record is 2:59 delay time. Thanks for the info! A little extra effort is worth it if 500 euro comes our way in the end.

@@SOSASATSUNRISE don’t feel bad by the airline denying your claim, they will be trying there best to use every excuse they can unfortunately, but don’t be discouraged like I originally was, I’ve claimed 5 times before from 3 different airlines, all were rejected initially and took months of convincing to win but I won them all!, 4/5 required me to go to an ADR which is basically adjudication (all done online, no Skype meetings or anything like that all done on a web portal) Typical timeframes for mine were 4-5 month start to finish including adjudication! I’ve just double checked the flight delay duration and it’s no longer 3 hours delay it’s now only a 2 hour delay so hopefully that should help your case :)

@@SOSASATSUNRISE Flights within the EU under 1,500km: you can claim €250 for a delay of two hours or more. Just give me a message if you need any advice on the EU261 process :) the only thing that’s a bit tricky can be the airlines reasoning, have they given a reason as to why the flight is late? If it’s due to a strike or weather its probably not a great chance in being successful in your claim. But if they haven’t given a reason that’s positive because they secretly know there in the wrong if that makes sense? Also, Wizz air gave me reasoning which the adjudicator said wasn’t applicable to the delay. So don’t be discouraged by there reasoning. Just keep pushing forward!! All the best.
