I bought both a knock off g24 mount and J-arm, and I've had to pretty much re-tighten all the screws on the thing, thank you for the info

great idea thanks.- Although after time, the screws loose tension and you need to tight them again and by doing that, the plastic part of the screws end up wearing and they are useless at the end.

Yes. That is true. Don’t overtighten them, this makes them wear out easier. Thankfully the screws are quite cheap. If you want, try and purchase some nicer quality screws from a hardware store.

The dovetail slider screws are M2,5 x 6mm

Thanks! I was unable to do further testing due to having sold the mount. Great initiative!

отличное видео. как убрать люфт коромысла, которое регулирует нахождение прибора ближе или дальше от глаза?

It's possible to purchase nylon tipped screws for this too. It is a different size. Maybe M2. But you have to measure yourself. I hope that helps

Hey good morning. Music put me to sleep. But how much for the screws and does it come with that fma pvs14. Thanks.

Link to the screws is in the description. They cost around 1 euro with free shipping when i got mine. The PVS-14 in the video is real, and not an FMA replica.

Thanks for the video - have you looked further into what screws the dovetail socket uses?

How to attach it to a helmet? Please help
@lak6307 Жыл бұрын
Attaching a G24 mount is quite easy. You need a helmet that has the standard shroud. Then you simply just hold in the lever, and click it into place.

hey man thanks for the vid. just a question for the screws if i may. the m3sx4 are for the arm. for the dovetail can you use m2.5s?
@lak6307 Жыл бұрын
I have not tested on the dovetail part, as mine was perfectly stable. You might have to do some testing for yourself in that case : )

Hello, have you had any issues with the push cylinder that releases mount from top to bottom positions? Sometimes it blocks and needs extra force to push it. Thank you Also, do you use any lubricant for the hinge section of the mount?
@lak6307 Жыл бұрын
I have not had this issue, but it may be because you have tightened the screws too much.

@@lak6307 Which screws if I can ask. I also notices when I push it the metal cilinder that is the most outer one and the same one that is connected to rail moves to left to touch the wall. After looking into it I saw that the screw that moves with the cilinder (the big silver one) goes further when it is released spontaneously than if I hold the push cylinder till the end. *Also how much power does it take for you to push the button that releases the nvg mounted. Idk if only with me but it takes a lot of force and after that the thing that holds the nvg does not go to original position and I have to push it down for the first part with spring to go up. Thanks no matter what.
