Norotos Lo Sto (PB and FTO) and INVG are the only ones missing I think. Also, might be worthwhile to cover the Hyper update to the Norotos mounts vs the legacy versions.

Losto force to overcome is hands down the best mount out there.

Dude awesome! I've been itching to see a comparison that pointed out how wobbly Wilcox mounts can be in comparison to their counterparts from Norotos. I started off on a G24 and begrudgingly tried the Norotos LoSto, which has now become my personal favorite for its adjustments and stability. I'd love to see you put out a review on one. Of course, extended fore/aft travel is helpful with certain types of gear so it's not like the G24 (especially the newer ones) isn't superior in other areas. The push-button placement on Wilcox mounts is also much more intuitive in my opinion.

Is that crye precision airframe helmet or just a dummy for airsoft?
@zCPz3 жыл бұрын
I just got the Cadex mount for my helmet. Unfortunately I have no experience with other mounts yet. That being said, the Cadex mount is wiggling around quite a bit. The first „problem zone“ seems to be the shroud on the helmet (that‘s the problem of the helmet ofc), the second is the mount itself. Most of the moving parts have a little bit of play and that sums up somehow. Is this also the case with your unit?
@accordnation3 жыл бұрын
Not at all. Did you purchase the mounts from us? If so, please reach out to us via our contact form on our website and we'll sort it out right away. Regarding the shroud to mount interface, that really depends on whether or not the shroud itself is on- or off-spec.

Hey man, does the G66 get the NVG’s tighter to your eye line and when stowed?

Wow the AKA2 is really more stable than a g24? Does it weigh significantly more?

In the grander scheme of things? No, maybe 10-30g difference? Marines have been using these mounts for years.

I liked your video. You are super knowledgeable on the subject. Your close-ups along with your commentary are on point. I didn't care for the music choice however. Not that I didn't like or appreciate it. Let me explain, it was a combination of the loop being too short & the volume level too loud. This made the music more noticeable, less in the background and took away from your otherwise STELLAR video. Still gave you a thumbs up tho. On a side note, does the Norotos offer breakaway? I don't recall you mentioning that.

The cadex isn’t cheaper than the wilcox or the lo sto, seems similar in price.

Sorry Mate, but you are talking non-sense about the break-away feature when comparing the G22E and the G24. The Breakaway Feature IS NOT set by a shorter or langer engagement of the mechanical interlocking tooth. The Breakaway IS NOT even set by the release-lever. The Breakaway feature is seen on the G24 mount with the additional lever on to "top" of the baseplate, its the black nitrided steel lever that has wings. It allows for 2 positions, and in one position the tooth is able to be fully depressed into the housing against spring force. That spring determs the force of the release, and not some "mechanical flex" of the Helmet Shroud! The second position is to lock the tooth, from that moment on the release lever is out of function and the mount permanently locked and the tooth can not move at all until the breakaway lever is set to unlock. Therefore, a G24 Mount has Breakaway "always" activated until the user overrides it with the permanent lock. It actually is a major difference to the G22E, as the G22E only features the regular release lever that can not be overrided for a second stage of locking and therefore can always be accidentally unlocked. Anyway: I came to compare my L4G22E to the Cadex mount. There is no footage out there comparing stowed positions of the pods, and I simply want to know which mount is more "narrow" and does less interfere with Bino Housings and their pods, to check if there is anything that saves a few more millimeters. So would be nice to get some actual numbers and some video/pics of some NODs mounted to them.
