Found your channel a few days ago, and have been binge watching it. I've learned more about the AR platform in the last three days than I had in my previous 57 years on this planet. A couple of things... 1. Your wife must know AR's through and through. Her camera work is always on point; she's right there with the cam like she's reading your mind. You can't do that unless you know the AR system like a pro. Thank you Mrs. SotAR for the amazing camera work. 2. You always seem almost apologetic when you're making a video for a product that you sell. While your humility is a fantastic trait that a lot of us (OK, ALL of us) could use more of, please don't feel like you need to be shy about telling us about a product you sell. We KNOW that you're the AR Guru, and would never lead us astray. You tell us you have a great product, and we'll buy it, no questions asked. Please don't be shy about singing a product's praises when it's deserved. 3. Thank you so much (both of you) for taking so much time/effort and making these videos. They're hard work, and it doesn't go unappreciated. You really deserve millions of subs. I've already told my son, my father, my brother, and two friends about your channel. I'm hoping to get a group of us together to take one of your December classes, Santa Wife willing. Thanks again, Mr. and Mrs. SotAR, you two are amazing.

I wonder how much you can improve a PSA bolt or upper?!

A SP1 bolt is staked differently, is it adequate?

Would like to see a jig like this made to stake gas block screws.

Just use red loctite
@robertfoote32557 ай бұрын
I just use a center punch in several places around the set screws.

@@American_hobo If you watch SotAR's video on fixing the two Black Rain Ordnance machine guns, he shows how to properly stake gas block screws, and he also states why you should not use red loctite in this location. Hint: the gas block gets way hotter than the max temperature red loctite can withstand and de-adheres from the threads. There are going to be guys that read this and respond with, "Well, I've been using red loctite there for the last 30 years and never had a problem." Good for you, but that doesn't mean that you're doing it right, it just means you're lucky. :)

Wait ✋️. Is this a tax scam thing 😂. I joke, I got jokes 😃. But you sir, have great content and extreme talent or knowledge? Whichever, I'm going to keep watching. 👍

My jaw literally fell open when I first read the post that you're referring to. I guess we should never underestimate the levels that anti 2A people are willing to sink to. And thanks for the chuckle! 🙃

@@floorpizza8074 I'd never belittle anyone for not paying taxes. We should all strive to pay as little as possible to the beast.

Are you under the impression that the staking is a permanent securing method?
