I have found that they blend better if you place a your lighter color first and then go to your darkest color and then middle color back to highlight. It's a weird order but it works pretty well for blending.

Soucolor has no strikes when I use them vs Prisma pencils, but using them together can create a master piece. I love Prisma because of the layering and blending. I love Soucolor because of the smoothness.

Thank you for your review! I bought the pencils and LOVE them. They go on smooth and the colours are so vast and vibrant. This set is wonderful because we get so many bright colours that are meant for more than landscapes, buildings and cars. I’ll go ahead and say it, there is a remarkable amount of feminine in here and I appreciate it. Thank you again for your review. They are one of kinds!

Thank you for this review. How do these pencils perform on colored pencil paper that has some tooth? Coloring books seem to be using very smooth paper now which doesn't allow the many layers that are needed in order to add dimension and depth to flowers, animals and other items in a picture. I also noticed a lot of crumbling when coloring. Do these crumbs spread and stain the paper, or do they truly brush away without staining the paper? I am trying to decide whether or not to keep the set I just bought.

I just watched this again.. I got a set of pencils in that had nothing to protect them inside and they were trashed just from rattling around in the box. I do think a sheet of foam, even a thin layer would have saved them. And, since I'm sending them back, that lapse in judgment is going to cost the company. Times how ever many other people are unsatisfied with what they receive.

Are these wax based? I just bought Johanna Basford's World of Flowers and My Secret Garden from Amazon and was very surprised to find the paper in both to be very smooth. I thought they would have some tooth to their paper. How are these pencils going to perform on paper that feels super smooth? Should I return the books to Amazon and look for them in their original rectangular shape in a bookstore instead of these new square ones? Several coloring books I tried to buy from Amazon lately seem to have a different shape and very smooth paper. I thought Johanna's books had thicker paper with some tooth to the pages.

Ok before I even watch this video i have to tell you something you did for me. So i watched your video with the gel pens and while i am not a big gel pen user i found it quite interesting. So the next day i was out and about and i was in the dollar store and i found the pink and green gel pens you showed. I thought well she said for mandalas and I don't really like mandalas because i never know what colors to use. Anyway i bought 2 packs of those and they had another set with blue in it so i grabbed 2 packs of them. Well i went home and grabbed a mandala book and i started 1. Well it isn't finished but you put me out of me comfort zone with coloring but into my comfort zone with price. Ok let me watch this video

I was looking out for them on Amazon,bad idea,the shipping cost are 10 bucks higher than the product itself which cost 40 bucks,totally,they cost 80 bucks I think..the Brutfuner that are similar costs less than 50 bucks..dammit😅😅😅
