I saw this comment and now I'm sad they didn't do this... but it's possible the song isn't entitely owned "in-house", that perhaps they'd have to pay license money to some other owner if they wanted to re-use it and figured it wasn't worth it, so they just make up new themes instead. Though if they actually do own it and aren't using it, SOMEONE in BamCo management better Offer Their Spirit in recompense....

No real excuse not to have different versions of same song, if done right, in a series as big as Soul Edge/Blade/Calibur.

Been going down the youtube rabbit hole with your videos lately ever since I saw Boom Boom and Cotton-eyed Joe and a few others. I told myself "one more Little V vid before I go to bed" and ... oh my gosh, did I hit the jackpot with that thought. I will not deny that I've been listening to this song majority of my night shift. If not listening, I've been humming it. God this brings back so many memories. Soul Blade was one of the first games I owned when I got my PS1. I really do miss the PS1 days.
