Ever since I heard the version on Gettin' In Over My Head back in 2004, I had the feeling that Brian's band should have re-cut the entire track and only used Carl's vocals (which is what that album's liner notes erroneously state they did) instead of what they actually did; using the 90s Beach Boys backing track with an added Brian vocals and a new sax solo over the organ break. This live recording only amplifies that feeling. Brian's band was such a knock-out force at this point in time. Listen to Nicky Wonder's guitar tone!
