THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG I'VE EVER HEARD

Among the many outstanding lead singers, Brother Jaycox was his own man. He didn't try to copy anybody. Soul Stirrer fans are richer for it.

The greatest quartet singers ever. Always sounded the same...even with different singers or arrangement of the songs.

We all have sin! And this guy who leads this song may not sound like Sam Cook, but he's singing the song very well!

This all came out great suffering. Asks the question: Is genius worth it? Seems it is, but then I've not suffered like black Americans.

+Alan Duff you are so correct the songs meant something an experieince that's why I hate to see ppl try and copy or sing the songs because they do not have a clue as to what the songs meant...

I have always been a little skeptical of gospel quartet singers. So many were not what they held themselves out to be. But my sense is that Eddie was the real deal. May he rest in peace.

I wouldn't trade Eddie Huffman for two Sam Cookes.

We each have our own opinion as to who was a better singer. Sam Cooke had a good voice but Eddie Huffman's voice was second to none.

you know these songs ,,the soul stirrers,,were a thing of the past but their music lives on,,bac in the sixties,,,there in chicago my dad use to work on their winnabago,,he said them boys could get their drink on,,but back to my point,,,it always seemed that after sam left the group,,,they always had somone grommed to be the next sam cook,,,,,,their was only one sam cook,,,while these guys sounded good,,and also sounded a bit like sam,,,but it seemed thats what kept the soul stirrers going,,,a sam cook wanna be,,,i'm sorry,,,,but just sayin
