The guy playing bass isn't actually playing the song. Look at his fingers and his hands. He's just pretending to. That's sad because Flea made this song by playing the bass as lead. This guy has the guitarist playing the baselines. The guitarist is the best musician in this video. That's terrible because this song was always about the bass. Too bad the bassist sucks so much he makes the lead guitarist play bass for him. In fact... Why is the lead singer even there? He's okay (??? Maybe... but no better than okay) at singing, and he can't play bass or guitar. He basically sucks. Can we not have a bassist that actually plays Flea's bass part?

+Triston Charge You've gotta learn how to split up your brain into to parts that pay attention to bass and parts that pay attention to the singing. It takes quite some time. It's way harder to sing while playing bass than to sing while playing guitar.

I think the real genius of Frusciante is writing guitar parts that sound really simple but are actually quite complex - you did a great job there, but there was clearly a lot of concentration needed! How on earth he does it so effortlessly is a constant mystery to me! Well done lads!!!
