Thanks for the review! I’m just getting into this army so this in depth review rlly helps me figure out what to get. I think you missed the fact that in legion of blood, Nefarata can give blood knights her spell to ignore negative mods to save so mystic shield/all out defense can put them on a 2+ unrendable save so I think a 10 man block of blood knights is actually more tanky than a brick of chaos knights with eroding icon and just won’t die.

Yeah I think this spell/build will be better with these rules. The Neferata spell is good but we did have it in the previous book. The problem was always that it's not reliable enough to build a list around. With +1 to cast from the new subfaction rule and a cheaper corpse cart it's looking a bit more reliable. Having ethereal amulet back also means we can have a VLoZD in the list that isn't fighting to be the target of that buff and the general durability buffs on Neferata and the VLoZD synergize well with it. Nef can also redploy 3 units plus herself so with an elite list she can move the entire army. It's looking good!

Hello, thank you for the nice Video. Really intersting to hear your thoughts. So im New to SbGl and my Plan is to run 2 Vampire Lords on Zombie Dragon (or Vhordrai probably him). I have the Problem to make a list. I am not Sure what my gameplan should be or what to add. Any thoughts on a list with Vhordrai and a Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon as a starten point. Thank you and Kind regards from Germany :)

Hi! I'm no expert but double dragon sounds fun to me. In Kastelai I reckon a reinforced unit of Askurgan Trueblades, two units of 5 blood knights, and some summonable chaff stuff could be a solid list. If you can get a buff or two on those trueblades I think they'll be a really difficult unit to deal with. It might skew a bit too elite though? Some of the battle tactics require summonable units so you it's good to include a some in the list.

So to your point about bodyguard, you can blame Belakor for that one before the recent STD book, as he could just summon a brick of 10 pinks every turn, which split all the way to brims, and still had wards after the 4+ unrendable that belakor himself had. It’s a pain yes but it may get removed as that’s not a big issue anymore we will see, but also currently with gellation champs you cannot even shoot the Necro due to him being one, and even then outside of tally champs it’s a -1 to hit so probably a bit less damage techically due to that but it needs mathing out

I don't mind losing the 3+ bodyguard with the point decrease. I did like using a necro as a general and it makes that a bit more risky. With the new rules I'm probably going for Mannfred double general or VLoZD general most of the time anyway.

Yo... can you bring 3 corpse carts and stack the lodestone buffs? Cogs? Is there magical storm build hidden in here?
@warhammerrulesasintended Жыл бұрын
The lodestones won't stack unfortunately. Cogs is a good option for this army though.
